Our tour guide Alex was right on time and was very knowledgeable about where the animals were located at the park. We got to see multiple lions, buffalo, impala, and other animals at the park up close due to his expertise at navigating the park. The visit to feed the giraffes was also an amazing experience. The Elephant orphanage was unfortunately closed due to covid restrictions, but Alex more than made it up to us by bringing us to the Karen Blixen museum where we got a guided tour of the history of the area. Great experience and all around recommended.

From the moment Alex picked me up from my hotel we had a great day. Alex was knowledgeable and answered my questions. It was just the two of us and we had great discussions but also we were comfortable being quiet. He pointed out some amazing things. I loved the tour and the care he showed me.

I had an incredible experience at Fairview Estate. James was my guide and was i credibly knowledgable about the coffee making process. I learnt so much during the tour and also had a lovely experience talking to him about Kenyan culture. I highly recommend this tour and thank the kind staff for a memorable experience.

We called the tour agency when we landed in kenya, and they confirmed that they would pick us up at the hotel the following day.

We waited and waited for them, and they never showed up. Tried calling the number multiple times, but there was no answer, so we ended up ubering and doing the tour on our own.

The worst part of all of this though was the fact that Viator and trip advisor were of ZERO help. Literally one of the worst companies to do business with. Avoid booking with them at all costs. Find other operators. They are quick to take your money, but they act like they have nothing to do with your tour if you ever have problems. Worst company ever, right after Safari Links Africa.

I did this tour the day after I arrived in Nairobi ( 10/17/19). It was worth doing it specially if you only have a few days to spare in the city. My driver was Alex and you could not ask for more to give you the best experience you could have. It was raining on and off the day I did this tour but he managed to drive me around the park to find animals such as lions, zebras and giraffes and gave me enough time to take pictures. I never felt rushed. He was very patient. When we were at the giraffe center was the best thing ever. I took several pictures and videos. He made sure that I get the best pictures and videos I could have to savor the memory at this place. He also gave me grief informations about the city, where to go and such. He took me to a souvenir place and somehow it took me a while at that place but he was there waiting patiently. I encourage tourists to do this tour and ask for Alex. You could never go wrong with him. Driving in Kenya is tough. A lot of drivers don’t follow traffic rules but he didn’t make me feel worried or nervous. I felt very safe with his driving skills. Thank you very much brother . You made this experience worth remembering for and when I come back to Nairobi, I’ll do this tour again and ask for you.

Amazing to see both the girafffes and elephants being looked after so well. It's an incredible organisation. Feeding the giraffes is a great experience, they are really friendly. For the elephants make sure you get in nice and early to get at the front for the best views.

The tour operator was good, but these places can genuinely be done with an uber as the tour operator has no role inside these properties. The elephant centre you must reach at 10:15 to be ahead in the line. It's a 11-12pm activity with adorable elephants, at $5 it's really worth it. The Karen Blixen musuem is amazing only if you've seen the movie or intend to see the movie /book out of Africa. The giraffe centre is a great experience

My mother and I had a wonderful time participating in this tour package. We saw the elephants early which were absolutely amazing followed by the giraffes. Wish we had more time at the giraffe center but they were adorable and you’re easily able to get up close and feed them if you choose. From their we ventured onto the Blixen museum which was pretty interesting and a nice break from the crowds. Our tour guide there was very informative and pleasant. Half our group split off to grab lunch and then decided to see the crocodiles while we went to see the Bomas performances. The music was lively and the dancing very energetic. We returned to the group with time to catch the crocs but opted not to ultimately. I would recommend this tour to friends and family for sure. Our driver way prompt and incredibly nice.

We booked a slightly customised tour: Safari Park, Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe Center!
It was absolutely amazing!
Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful! During he drive through the safari park he made sure that we can see most of the inhabited animals! And we did: Zebras, Gazelles, Giraffes, Warthogs (Pumba!), Rhinos, Buffalos and Lions!
The elephant orphanage was nice - even though too many people there on a weekend! Giraffe Center was fantastic!
All in all definitely a day that we will remember! Thank you!

We booked this through Viator. The day before the trip , Douglas with Safarilinks began to text and email us and then call us repeatedly to back out of the deal because he didn’t want to give Viator their commission. He ruined out day in Kenya . He wanted us to cancel with Viator and book with him directly but didn’t tell us that at first. He just kept a saying he couldn’t get a driver. The night before he finally agreed to pick us up at 6 am. My son who was on R&R from intense humanitarian work had to field these nuisance calls. Douglas then awoke my son at 5 am and told him we would have to rebook. My son asked if we cancelled Viator and booked directly with him would the trip still happen and Douglas said “of course”. We did not cancel Viator. Finally a driver was called last minute ans we didn’t start out til 7:30 which meant we missed all the early morning animals which is a big deal! Fortunately he booked a driver we ended up liking . But we would have been way better off booking the driver individually. DO NOT USE SAFARILINKS. They are unprofessional . In africa everyone has to get a cut. We had the same problem with other tours who had contracted with Viator

Thank you for writing a detailed review about our approach to you, our intent was not to skip commission as you regarded it, situation do vary especially at time like this when the industry is hardly hit by covid 19. and it is only human to reason out when it does. we are working hard to ensure nothing like happens again in future to any of our customers. it is very important that you wrote about your feeling about it we will rectify immediately. Thank you.

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
