We visited Luxor already a few times before we returned in July 2021; we always use the perfect services of Luxortaxi. This small, family run company offers high quality in communication: personal answers with ideas and suggestions to make your time in Egypt unforgettable (no standard emails like many companies are used to send). From the very first email until the last drop off at the airport, the team of Luxortaxi is giving attention to every detail and wish of their guests.
The quality of transportation done with a brandnew minivan, is highly comfortable thanks to the experience of Hassan, who stays always calm in even the most crazy traffic situation. He is always on time, always in good mood. He made us feel part of the daily life in Luxor by bringing us to several points where tourists seldom come: the local soukh on the Westbank, local restaurants and some sightseeing points of the beaten path - all at our own request.
He arranged a great private felucatrip during sunset for us, just like our balloontickets for a ride above the Westbank during sunrise............
Luxortaxi offers you not only transportation, but a real Egyptian travel experience!

We hired Hassan for one trip, then were so happy with his service that we hired him for the rest of the week, this included a 2 day trip down to Abu Sumbel.
We found Hassan to be reliable and friendly. He customised our trip to what we wanted to do, while adding his local knowledge to make it even better.

We, two couples, visited Luxor for the second time and a few weeks before our arrival, we contacted Luxortaxi to arrange all the transportation again. Hassan answers always very quickly and detailed to all our emails; he was happy to hear from us again!
He offered us a private program with visits to sites we didn't see during our first time (in and outside Luxor), but also with visits of sites which we saw before - Hassan made us discover all kind of new details there. In corona time he finished his study for guide and he explains the ancient history of his city with great enthousiasm; with links to the present situation which makes it all lifely!
We enjoyed to be with him; he is polite, kind and very helpful - a real ambassador for Luxor, his city which is one big open-air museum!
And, also important to know: his rates are more than reasonable.................

We would highly recommend Hassan’s taxi and tour guide company in Luxor. Hassan and his brother picked us up from Soma Bay near Hurghada and took us to Luxor. It was an easy journey and we stopped en route for a short break. Everything ran smoothly. The bus was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked really well! Hassan and his brother were so friendly and professional and my kids also really enjoyed the time that we spent together. Hassan showed us all around Luxor’s main sights (Valley of the Kings etc) and was knowledgeable and very friendly. He was always punctual and was also very quick to respond to emails and any change of plan. When my son wanted to go on a quick shopping tour, Hassan also made that happen! He also took us to some lovely local restaurants in Luxor. We are really looking forward to traveling to Luxor again and we will definitely book Hassan again! We felt very safe with him and we also had fun!

Hassan is an incredible tour guide and very passionate about Ancient Egyptian history. I found out that he is on his way to be an Egyptiologist and it shows that he studies from a position of fascination with history and culture.
He is prompt, he is a great storyteller and he is incredibly patient and he responds to questions with good thoughts and provides deeper insight. His taxi is kept very clean and during the day tour, we made stops for coffee, water and also visited a bookshop for me to be able to read more and understand some of the sites that we had visited at the West Bank for the Valley of the Tombs (Kings and Queens) and the Temples at the East Bank of Luxor.
Hassan is well mannered and is principled and you wont feel shortchanged for his services. A great weekend for me as I had booked him over the course of two days and I think now I have gained a new friend!

Mr. Hassan is a very friendly, skilled and trustworthy as well as reliabe and safe driver We can absolutely recommend him with no restrictions. From the moment of our booking till the tour finally ended he is simply the best driver you can book. Whatever you desire and want.. Hassan fullfills all your wishes. He offers reasonable prices for his services but what is even more important.. he is utmost reliable and drives very safe and this is what at the end counts.
Mr. Hassan deserves our recommandation and of course we will book him next year again! Thank you so much to Mr.Hassan to make you trip to Egypt a memorable one.He desserves more than 5 Points!!!!

My family and I visited Luxor for a couple of days and our hotel booked us a tour with Hassan to The Valley of the Kings and Hatchepsut’s temple. We had a brilliant day, experiencing exactly what we wanted to see! Hassan was extremely personable, warm and engaging, with plenty of knowledge to share with us. He also took us to a little restaurant that is popular with the local people and it was delicious! The whole experience was professional, fun and fascinating. It was a highlight of our visit to Egypt and we would 100% recommend!

Had another great experience with Luxor Taxi Tours (the first was in Nov 2016). Hassaan arranged our entire trip including:
1) Transport to/from the airport in a very comfortable and clean minivan
2) Arranging a Spanish-speaking guide for my mother in law
3) Arranging a boat trip to/from the East Bank, which was very pleasant
4) Arranging a horse-carriage ride from Luxor temple back to our hotel
Everything was very smooth and organized. I appreciated the attention to detail (including providing bottled water in the minivan) as well as the punctuality.
Overall, we had a great time in Luxor and would definitely do it again.

We planned to spend 4 days with Hassan but ended up asking him for an extra trip to Karnak and he kindly agreed. He picked us up from the airport on time, picked us up from our hotel on time and guided us everywhere we wanted to go in the best possible manner we could have expected. My wife and I had 4 guides in Egypt and Hassan was the best. He is a calm and polite person, and also respects his client's privacy. He is a careful driver, speaks good English and is passionate about history. We highly recommend to travel with Hassan and Luxor Taxi.

Again an amazing service, punctuality, professionalism and extreme education. We were accompanied in all the temples and museum where we had the pleasure of hearing details about the history that are not normally told and that inspired us even more in our travel, with special care for the details in our lunch on the boat where we later swam in the nile. deserved much more than 5 stars

Advice to all, I just came back from a tour of Egypt with kids and the best way to go around is by private taxi, it's way cheaper than a tour and safe because they waiting for you while you visit, contact Mr Mohamed +20 111 0684495 who has a good English as well, the whole day for 400 English pounds around which is only 18 UK £!whole day!! The tour would have cost me 240$ per day, Luxor is also very safe and so relaxing... enjoy

There are some confusion in the advice to all concerning currencies.
English Pounds and UK £ are same currenci.!!!
