While touring the West Bank near Qurna village we visited the Tomb of Shuroy in the Valley of the Nobles. These Nobles’ tombs mimic those of the Pharaohs but are understandably smaller, however very nicely decorated.

Roy, Shuroy and Amenemope are right next to each other and are located not too far from the Carter house. There are some nice paintings and carvings here and there is ongoing archaeological work. We saw some mummy wrappings by the path!
