We found this company the best to deal with from the first email I sent to them. Very professional and Mohamed was so prompt at answering my numerous questions as well as providing what we expected and more! Our guide Mahmud was the best! Over the years we have found that a guide who is truly interested and enthusiastic about the sites will give us the best experience and this was so true of Mahmud. He managed to get us to see absolutely everything we had on our list of things to do plus had us talk with a friend of his involved in a dig in the Valley of the Kings. How cool is that? He even started our second day early to make sure we had time for all of our bucket list sites. By the end of our second day in the Valley of the Kings our legs were so tired from all the climbing up and down to get into all of the tombs. That tells you how great Mahmud was getting us to see everything. He kept us moving to be sure we saw all and still stayed on schedule. Our vehicle was very roomy and comfortable, too. We chose to stay at the historic Winter Palace for our overnight. The room was a bit dated but how lucky to stay at this hotel! So you won’t go wrong with Ramasside. Reliable. Professional. Accommodating. Flexible. Affordable given the product delivered. And if possible, ask for Mahmud as your guide. He was the best! One final comment - if you can afford it, do the private tour. We really felt pampered and loved the one on one experience. Much more personal.

I booked this 2 day tour for myself, my Wife and another couple, I was impressed how efficiently and effectively the tour ran from the time of the booking to when we were picked up it all went like clockwork. We were in a comfortable vehicle with plenty of legroom and our guide Ahmed was very personable and knowledgeable and made sure that we enjoyed every moment of our tour. We first drove to Luxor where we went to the Karnak temple which is absolutely awe inspiring, I was surprised how lush everything was with bananas and sugar cane growing in the fields alongside the road lined with flowering bushes. After touring the temple we went to Luxor for lunch where we overlooked the central square with the Temple of Luxor and the Nile in the background. After lunch we toured the temple and that went sailing on the Nile in a felucca which is a traditional single sail boat to our 5 star hotel the Steigenberger (written up in a separate review) We were picked up after dinner to go to a Light and Sound show at the Karnak Temple (also discussed in a separate review). The next day we drove to the West Bank of the Nile to visit the Valley of the Kings including the tomb of King Tutankhamen we then visited the Hatshepsut Temple. Be aware that in the valley of the kings that if you want to take photos, who wouldn't, if you use a cell phone there is no charge but if you use a traditional SLR or digital camera you have to pay 300 Egyptian pounds, also those individuals offering to take photos for you are not doing it out of the goodness of their heart, they expect a tip usually 1 USD. We arrived back at our ship on time and forget all that fear mongering about armed guards and escorts, just a ruse to get you to pay for a more expensive tour.

We had a great experience in Luxor, our Egyptoloist Mr Ahmed Haggag Ali was very knowledgeable and he shared great insights of this historic place. Also he took great care of us by arranging veg food and helped us to get extended check out in the hotel

At the port finding our guide was chaos. The Ramasside guides were not holding up identification signs. Each guide had only his tour members names so we had to go to each guide to find ours. I was part of a group that booked together on Cruise Critic and they had only one member of this group listed. This caused problems. We had to wait to leave in a convoy. On the 3 hour trip to Luxor, our guide did not talk to us about what we would see or Egypt in general. Several people asked him to do so over the 2 days but it did not happen. He was more interested in joking and telling us to smile. At some sites he did not come with us to explain things but went to the cafe. The first day the order of the itinerary seemed to keep changing and when we were finally taken for lunch, the buffet had been sitting out for some time and was decimated. A couple of us approached the guide who at first dismissed us but finally we were taken to another restaurant for an excellent lunch. The guide was intent on telling us he was not to blame. Each day we were taken to unscheduled stop which was a shop. Fortunately these did not use up much time as no one was buying. At the end of the trip at lunch a local manager showed up to tell us his educational background and to collect any unpaid balances. This was also a time of chaos. The sights to see in Luxor are amazing and cannot be diminished by meer tour guides. I recommend you see this amazing place. Just use a different company.

Our cruise had an over night stay in Luxor and didn't want to book the ships over priced and crowded tour option. So we picked the best value and personal tour instead. Thank you for allowing my family to spend time with a wonderful personal guide and driver team. Working with their front office especially our personal tour operator Haitham Masoud, from the smallest detail to finalizing a fantastic trip was very easy, smooth and professional. We were treated with style, kindness and the greatest professionalism. The package we chose allowed us to customize a special vacation at the best value in Luxor. You now have a new friend and a repeat customer. Many thanks to my tour team and your office for sharing your great company with my family.
