This was our very first visit to Egypt. Traveling to Egypt was like a dream come through! Standing in front of and walking into the majestic structures of Giza and Sakkara Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum and Memphis World Heritage Site and Saqqara Archaeological Sites in Cairo, visiting the Qaitbay Citadel and Aswan Philae Temple plus many more, were simply unimaginable, something we saw only on the screens. Virgin experiences with the hot air balloon, felucca, camel ride, horse carriage rides, and cruising in the Nile River were exciting and marvelous.
The selection of accommodations and venues for the arranged meals were pretty exquisite, especially the sunset at Sunrise Alex Avenue in Alexandria and authentic Egyptian cuisines such as Tongues of the birds’ soup, pita bread, and Egyptian Falafel.
The tour guides were tentative and caring, especially Sahar (Cairo) and Mohammed (Aswan, Edfu, Luxor, and Abu Simbel), although Eslam (Alexandria) seems a little less experienced and we felt a little rushed in Alexandria, nonetheless, we believe they did their best, including other staff like Hussein who ensured that we were taken care of from point to point.
We really appreciated all the “surprises” that you have arranged, such as upgrading to Alhambra Royal Suite, complimentary meals, and a few others. We thank you for taking good care of us for the entire time in Egypt, especially re-arranging the sequence of our itinerary after the tiresome sleeper train from Luxor to Cairo, followed by car transfer to Alexandria, to give us extra time to rest before the next full day of the tour.
This was indeed a trip to remember for life! We have no regrets about engaging Egypt Unlimited for this amazing journey and we will definitely recommend it to our family and friends!
