I spent the day in Aswan, visiting temples along the Nile via motor boat, as well as exploring a Nubian village. Every part of this was an adventure, and traveling on the Nile river was a beautiful experience. Doaa was an incredible guide, which made the day even better than it already would have been. She was knowledgeable, informative and friendly. Once I told her that I was learning to speak Arabic, she even sent me some materials to help. When traveling alone, having someone pleasant and friendly to spend a day with really makes a difference. 10/10 would recommend and will be back

My husband and I had such a wonderful time on our tour. Our guide Doaa was very knowledgeable, friendly, and thoughtful. Throughout the trip we would discuss what we wanted to do and she would provide wonderful suggestions, so we were really able to customize the trip to our liking.
I would certainly recommend Show you Egypt tours and especially Doaa, who made our experience extra special.

Doaa was a great guide for my little half day trip today. She made took my to the monastery on the hill, then down the Nile to the Nubian village. She’s smart, informative and very good company.

During my short day in Aswan I booked a 4 hour tour of a Nubian village through Viator. I was assigned Dowa, a local and knowledgeable tour guide who provided us with the history and many insights, she also proved to be somewhat of a professional photographer and took great photos of us! We toured houses, the markets and then we stopped off for ice cream and finished off with a sunset ride back to our hotel. Dowa was a vibrant guide and an aspiring archaeologist so we had great conversations about Egypt. had we more days I definitely would have booked more experiences with her. Thank you so much Dowa!

Had a great trip. The guide, Doaa, was knowledgeable and friendly, and the Nubians were welcoming. The ride on the Nile was a different experience and we were able to stop at one of the beaches to swim for a little while too. Highly recommend this trip to anyone who is interested in exploring new cultures and places in unconvinced ways.

The tombs are nice. And Doaa is a great guide - excellent English and attitude :).

The only way to go is by boat and it is a breathtaking trip. Once you reach ask for Saad the monument keeper and he will guide you through the history of the temple and how it was moved to its current location after the Nile flood back in the days.

Very recommend to go to Nubian Village with Joudy, our guide! Our trip was very fun and amazing. We had a 45-minutes boat ride to the village, and Joudy described about Nubian village history, Nile river and the attractions that we passed by along the way. We went to the school, learned about Arabic and Nubian languages from the teacher. Then, we visited Nubian house, took a picture with little crocodile (they’re so adorable when they’re small not in the photo one). We also went to spices and souvenir shop (which owns by Jordy’s family so we got the good price). Joudy is very kind. He helped take us to local store to buy a drinking water in cheap price. Thanks to him for this super amazing trip!
