Oh my goodness - this is one of the most amazing museums I have been to. Tracing the timelines of this incredible culture, seeing King Tut's mask, his gold coffins, mummified persons and so much more - just incredible.

The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) in Giza is still under construction and isn't actually open yet. (The reviews on this page are meant for the Egyptian Antiquities Museum in Cairo at Tahrir Square.)
