We first found Emo Tours online while looking for a good way to visit the Pyramids of Giza. We were attracted to the good reviews and very reasonable pricing and took a shot! We booked with short notice at around 16:30 for a tour the next day. Moments afterwards we received an itinerary and confirmation of tour which was scheduled to start at 7:00am the next day.
They arrived promptly and in a very comfortable and well airconditioned van.
To make a long story short we had the most amazing time exploring the pyramids of Giza, the Stepped Pyramid, and Memphis with our excellent guide, Mohamed Hamed!

After getting along very well, we exchanged numbers with Mohamed so that he could help us with anything we may need for the remainder of our time in Egypt.

We decided we wanted to explore Alexandria and Luxor and reached out to Mohamed to organise day trips out to both cities. Once we ironed out the itinerary and details, Mohamed sent a link with our customized tour to finalize payment and everything was set in stone.

Our trip to Alexandria was the very next day and we spent a great time with our guide Omar in the Ptolomaic and Roman city, exploring the catacombs, the Roman theatre, the Citadel of Qaitbay, the Library of Alexandra, and two different Mosques.

Two days later our day trip out to Luxor began with an early start being picked up at 4:30 in the morning for our 7:35 flight out. We landed and were greeted by another fantastic guide called Samer (Sam). Our day was jam packed with sight visits to the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's temple, the Colossi of Memnon, the Luxor Temple, and the Karnak Temple. These are some of the most impressive structures in Egypt with SO MUCH history in every one!

Emo Tours was so efficient and easy to use, everything gets organised by the company and flows so seamlessly! Mohamed Hamed was an absolute lifesaver and stayed in contact with us every single day while in Egypt to ensure everything was running smoothly.
I would recommend Emo Tours to anybody and everybody. You won't be dissapointed!

I’m a solo traveler, first time in Egypt and booked this tour last minute, a day before. Emo tours communicated with me very promptly to confirm pick up from hotel.
I was a little bit anxious ahead of time touring the Coptic Cairo and Islamic Cairo, but my tour guide Tonsi and his coworker, driver Sayed immediately made me feel comfortable.
I like to think Tonsi was like my body guard. It’s very safe in Egypt, I didn’t experience anything that made me worry. But having a good tour guide is wonderful, because they help you with just about anything and make sure that you are not harassed by the local salespeople. Tonsi also took me to the Khan al-khalili bazaar at the end of the tour. He was teaching me how to bargain properly and not overpay, or end up buying fake items thinking they are real. I was quickly able to purchase the items I was looking for without the headache I would have had if I was trying to do it by myself.
He has great knowledge about the Egyptian history, and all the landmarks. Tonsi was able to share things about each location that I hadn’t heard before. He is also very funny, and the whole day we spent together touring places I enjoyed his company.
I learned so many new things about the Islam religion as well as the culture of Egypt today.
Tonsi is incredible taking photographs. He knows the best places and wants to make sure you get beautiful photos.
We had a delicious local lunch.
I’m in Egypt for total of 9 days, now half way through my vacation, and I absolutely love it. I can’t wait to come back!
Emo tours is a great company and I definitely recommend them and Tonsi to anyone! I couldn’t have hoped for a better day!

An informative and enjoyable day

We had an excellent experience with our guide, Ehab, on a day trip to Alexandria from Cairo. He and our driver (whose name I cannot remember) were at our hotel just before the scheduled time, the car was new and clean, and our driver was careful and helpful. Ehab explained the itinerary and available modifications based on our interests and gave us a history of Alexandria on the drive out. He was thorough and comprehensive as we visited the catacombs, the citadel and the library and we had a pleasant discussion over the included lunch (which was quite substantial). This was our first experience with Emo Tours and it was quite positive.

Great service

This company believes in taking care of thier customers. All I have received on my last 3 transactions with them is great service tailored to suit my needs. When I asked guide that I’d done something already included on itinerary, he came up with another options we could do. I’m not going to say they do that each time but it didn’t hurt to ask n be honest to the guide because ultimately they know they are to make you trip memorable.

Wonderful tour and even better guide

We had a wonderful time on our day long tour with guide Sayed Mahmoud and driver Heny. We started at the pyramids (including going inside!!) and then enjoyed a camel ride. We then went shopping at a number of shops finding unique and beautiful gifts to bring home from Egypt. After that we headed to the Egyptian museum where Sayed expertly showed us all of the highlights and added additional details about Egyptian history. I highly recommend booking with Emo Tours and asking to see if Sayed and Heny can take you around.

Excellent!

My wife and I highly recommend Emo Tours. The guide Tonsi was highly knowledgeable, very friendly and gave us time and space to enjoy the sites. He made a video and took lots of photos for us! The driver Farag also did a great job with navigating the busy no rules driving in Egypt! Our trip was amazing and if you are planning a trip having a tour and guide booked with Emo tours is well worth it. I would say it enhanced our trip and saved us time so we could see all the importance sites.

Day Trip to Crystal Mountain, Black and White Desert

We had the best experience visiting the desert! Our trip was booked at 5am as it takes quite a long drive from Cairo to get to the destination.

We were picked up from the hotel in Cairo by our tour guide, Hamdi, who was waiting for us in the lobby area. He was the best tour guide we could have and even from the beginning of our trip he offered us snacks and water which we really appreciated it. The drive was quite quick and we made a stop point to Bahariya Oasis to change with a 4x4 car which took us on an amazing adventure.

Our stop points included in the trip were wonderful, the landscapes were breathtaking and we really enjoyed our day to the fullest! We even had the opportunity to try sand boarding which was our first time and the best experience.

Hamdi was very friendly with us and took care of us the whole day, making us to feel like family. After we finished visiting all points, we returned to Bahariya Oasis where we had a delicious lunch and aromatic tea with Hamdi and got more information about the Egyptian cuisine.

I highly recommend Hamdi as he is the best tour guide you could have ever asked for!

AMAZING GUIDE AND DRIVER

Our group took Emo Tours around the Egyptian museum and Cairo today and it was amazing! We had delicious Egyptian food, fun dancing, an amazing tour guide and driver, and so many laughs! Sayed Mahmoud and Wahleid our driver were the best. Both were knowledgeable and kind. I felt very comfortable and I would 100% recommend anyone visiting Cairo to use emo tours!

Tonsi - great guide

Tonsi was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable with every question we asked him. He is very passionate about his countries history and was easy to get along with. He was not pushy at all and cared more about sharing knowledge than trying to sell us anything. Even helped us buy fruits from the local market when we finished (we asked haha).

Mr Sayed Mahmoud was your tour guide for the day tour and he was very informative and punctual. He explained to us the history of Egypt and took us to an amazing restaurant where we enjoyed authentic Egyptian food. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to cover the attractions in and around Cairo .
