I have wanted to come to Egypt since I was 5, and as a woman travelling alone I wasn't sure how to do Egypt. At first I thought of a tour group but I have never done one and the idea is not an appealing one. Then I saw the reviews for Jakada tours and it was the best find I could have made. I contacted Ahmad, the owner, who has been nothing but kind and Incredibly responsive. He helped me set up an amazing PRIVATE trip and for less price than I would have had with a tour group. I am leaving tomorrow after almost a week with Jakada tours, and I wish i could give them more than 5 stars. They have been absolutely awesome and every one of their people I dealt with was great, the hotels were lovely and nicer than anything I stay in at home.
The first person I met from Jakarta tours was Adel, who greeted me at the Cairo Airport and guided me through the visa process and through passport control then into a car and off to my hotel. He made it such an easy and relaxing way to start my Egypt stay. My guide for Cairo, Shariff was wonderful. Very informative , kind and thoughtful, and I really enjoyed my time with him. A good guide makes all the difference in the quality of your visit! I then flew to Luxor, where I was met by Azap, who has also been phenomenal and full of informaton. He has been amazing at looking after me, and has also been an outstanding guide
I love seeing antiquity sites early in the morning, and Azap feels the same, so I have seen all of these sites with virtually no other tourists. That's been absolutely incredible
I would highly highly recommend Ahmed with Jakada tours as well as Adel, Sharif, and Azap without any hesitation. I sincerely hope I get to return to Egypt, and travel with all of them again.
