Jakada Tours organised an 11 day tour of Egypt for me with four days in Cairo, a Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor visitng all the sights along the way, a day in Alexandria and a day at El Alamein. My two guides were Maryam and Ahmed. The trip was organised efficiently and Jakada and my guides were very flexible about making minor adjustments along the way. I did not have to worry about a thing. Both my guides were friendly, courteous, professional and very knowledgeable about the places I visited. From my guides I learnt a lot about Egyptian history and mythology, but also about life in modern Egypt. I really enjoyed my tour with Jakada Tours and would happily use them for any further trips to Egypt.…

Jakada Tours has incredible expert guides in each city of Egypt. I joined a trip with friends who traveled with their young children as well. Our driver (Waheed) was very good at transporting us safely to all destinations & if items were left in his vehicle, he would return them next day. Adel (airport transport guide) navigated us efficiently through the airport and kept us entertained by answering our many questions as we traveled to & from the airport. Upon leaving he even surprised us with Egypt flags and keychains bc we fit to pick up a few trinkets the night before. Now that was a touch of class! Maryam Khattab (Giza/Cairo Tour Guide) has a gentle, kind soul & is incredible! She could navigate any additional stops without hesitation. We toured The Great Pyramids, Sphinx, The Egyptian Museum of Cairo, ate lunch at Abou Shakra Restaurant with a direct view of the Sphinx and pyramids, stopped by many world renowned vendors for perfume, jewelry and artwork. While touring the pyramids she arranged a camel ride with an awesome guy that knew all the tricks to create epic pictures in Snapchat, Boomerang, for IG or FB! Needless to say, Maryam could take the best photos in the best location too! Our family was incredibly happy to have her. Additionally, Maryam was our tour guide, but I felt as if she has become family away from home. In Luxor, we had Ahmed (Azap). He is funny and has a wealth of knowledge. There we visited Luxor Temples, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, Sekhmet Factory, Colossi of Memnon & Amenhotep III Temple, Gate of the West to the Nile and this impeccable restaurant called “Africa.” Honestly, I recommend two days in Luxor because there is a lot of walking and driving. I was emotionally drained due to a pack filled day without food until the end. He did provide us the option to take a 10 minute Nile Cruise vs a 1-hr drive back to Luxor and that was a breath of fresh air. Hurghada, was a nice break from the city life. It was chill with great views of countryside living. There’s a lot of green grass, farming with beautiful flowers at the resort directly on the Red Sea. I’m not sure who our driver & transport guide was, but they were professional & navigated through police check points with ease. Of the six days, I couldn’t imagine not having Jakada Tours as our private tour guides. This company comes highly recommended!!!…

From the very beginning and inquiry stage Ahmad was extremely responsive. He was fast, accurate, helpful and answered all of my crazy questions. Some tours were planned on the spot and Maryam Khattab took such great care of us in Cairo. Our trip was short, and we wanted to see/do a lot and Jakarda made it happen. We always felt safe and our two little girls had an amazing time. In Luxor Ahmed Azab was very knowledgeable about the temples and Hurghada was simply breathtaking. Ahmad upgradedu us to all inclusive which made our stay all the better. Our 5 days in Egypt were amazing, thanks to Jakarda and the team! I would definitely go back!…
