Collectively my group of 7 used Walk Like an Egyptian for 3 days in Cairo. The first day we did a full tour with just 3 of us. The attention to detail and the witty banter of our guide was great. We visited mainstays such as Mosque Ibn Tulun, Madrasa Sultan Hassan, and the coptic area including The Hanging Church, Fortress Babylon, St. George's et al. The second day our full group got a late start due to our own travel woes, but was able to see the Egyptian Museum featuring King Tut, and explore the Khan Khalil Bazaar. Our final tour day we visited the newer museum housing the expansive mummy exhibits, before embarking off to the great pyramids of Giza, and the Sphinx. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and also acted a great intermediary when brokering camel rides etc. at the pyramids. Air conditioned vans picked us up directly from the hotel and shuttled us between each and every location. I'm not sure how I'd do Cairo any other way. Thank you to Walk Like an Egyptian for helping create a vacation I will never forget!…

A nice Friday morning tour of Muezz Street in Cairo, with a friendly and professional guide who made us discover the treasures of islamic Cairo between mosques, palaces, water cisterns and ancient houses. We will come back!

My adult sons and I booked two days worth of tours with Esma. (sorry, if the spelling isn't correct). She was perfect. Knowledgeable, friendly and a native of Cairo. Our first tour was a full day tour of the Pyramids, including a side trip to Memphis. She covered a lot of ground but was always attentive to the pace we wanted to take. She helped us understand not only the history of ancient Egypt, but she told us about life in Cairo today. Our second tour was a half-day tour of some of the religious sites in Cairo. We visited the Coptic "Hanging Church" the Greek Orthodox church and some important mosques. Again..she went beyond the history book facts, and helped us understand the larger context of these religions on the lives of Eqyptians. Esme was wonderful...and an asset to this organization.…

Our guide (ASSEM OMAR) was knowledgeable, responsible and extremely pleasant. He took great care of all the participants taking into account different age groups and juggled between both fluent English and Arabic as he introduced us to the various sites.
