Months before our visit, I had contacted Tamer Mina, asking him to accompany me with my wife for a day tour of the Giza pyramids. Tamer proposed modifications to our original plan, adding visits to Saqqara and Coptic Cairo. We are very happy to have accepted his proposals, which resulted in a much more interesting tour.
On the agreed day, he arrived punctually at our hotel, with a comfortable van, driven by the very polite driver Islam. He meticulously adhered to the agreed schedule, always staying by our side and never trying to push us towards vendors or souvenir shops. He has a very open and pleasant personality. As we had a full schedule and no time for proper lunch, he accompanied us to local places offering quick-lunch solutions, which turned out to be tasty and safe. Although Tamer makes no secret of advocating unconventional theories about the beginnings of ancient Egypt, he is careful to also state the conventional generally accepted historical point of view and the established chronology. He also has a very good knowledge of Coptic Cairo and its monuments. It was very important that our guide took the right initiatives when needed, while respecting our wishes and priorities throughout the tour. He is reliable and a pleasant person to spend a day with. Thanks to him we managed to cover a lot in a single day without excessive stress, while avoiding tourist traps.

Tamer was an excellent tour guide that I would HIGHLY recommend. He was response in the planning phase of our trip and was on time picking us up from the airport. We left straight from the airport to go to Mt Sinai. He gave us the history of Egypt and was very knowledgeable. During our drive and crossing many checkpoints, he was calm and encouraging so we and our children had no fear of the checkpoints. We had wanted to teach our children more about Biblical history and make it come alive for them and he did an excellent job interacting with our kids and making it a fun and enjoyable trip for us. He was very good at communicating what would happen for our climb up Mt. Sinai and even negotiating on our behalf with the Bedouin guide for camels for our family to ensure we got a good deal. He didn’t walk up Mt. Sinai with us but made sure we had a good and trustworthy Bedouin guide to help us. The driver on the trip was also very nice and they made a good team to ensure we had a good time. They took us to some extra places we weren’t expecting to see like the tomb of Aaron and the supposed site of the golden calf. He gave us history while touring the St. Catherine’s monetary at the base of Mt. Sinai. Overall, he’s a very reliable, knowledgeable, kind, funny guide and if you are looking to gain more Biblical knowledge and enhance your Egypt experience, he is your go to guy.

Tamer Mina was an exceptional tour guide during our journey through Egypt. His profound knowledge of the country's history and culture provided us with a rich and immersive experience. Tamer's passion and enthusiasm made each historical site come to life, and his storytelling kept us captivated throughout the tour. He also ensured every detail was perfect and attended to our needs with utmost professionalism and care.
We were particularly delighted with the local mango juice and the locally farmed dates he introduced us to—they were refreshing and delicious highlights of our trip! All in all, Tamer's expertise, dedication, and warmth made our Egypt tour unforgettable. Our Family Highly recommends!

During the pandemic, we had hopefully planned and sadly canceled 2 trips to Egypt. It was to be our third visit. Finally, we made it back in December 2024!
Tamer has become a dear friend over the years and that makes the trip even brighter. We were pleased to meet his trainee, Haidy, as well. She loves her country and knows it’s a special place and is an effective and happy guide.
Tamer is knowledgeable in Bible history and shares that along the way; we love it. He’s also well-versed with historical theory and we enjoy that as well.
We have anxiously watched the progress on the new Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, and while it’s not fully open it’s still huge and worth a trip around the world to see it. We’ll be back to see the rest. Tamer cherry-picks most relevant and interesting exhibit topics and the museum comes alive! We also visited the Museum of Egyptian Civilization and saw the mummies.
We have a favorite Koshari Restaurant in the midst of Cairo that we enjoy with Tamer, and it’s likely that many foreign visitors don’t get the opportunity!
Tamer is willing to consider and accommodate special interests; on a future trip we hope to visit the Land of Goshen and take a family trip down the Nile in a Dahabiya.
It’s fair to say that Egypt is one of our top vacation spots and you can’t grasp it all in one, two, or three visits! Thanks, Tamer!

Greetings, we needed a Turkish guide in our 2-day trip plan for Cairo. Luckily, we came across a stellar Turkish guide from here. Tamer Hodja referred us to Toprak Hodja. We would like to thank our brother Toprak Kabasakal, he is a guide who does his job properly and is very helpful. We spent our 2 days very enjoyable without wasting any time and without any discomfort. If you want to spend your time in Cairo with better quality, please contact our brother Toprak Kabasakal, you will understand better what we mean by experiencing it. We thank you for making our holiday beautiful. 🙏🏻

Tamer made us fall more in love with Egypt!
It's the best experience we can ever dream of. He is very knowledgeable, professional, funny, friendly, helpful, generous and just awesome. Not only that he made us feel home , he made us feel we will come back and tell all our family and friends how great Egypt trip was.
Je helped us with the personal driver (Mauris) who has a very nice car and who was very friendly, and also with the tours and excursions we wanted to do in Sharm Alsheikh, he had a great network and I highly recommend him to be your tour guide.

You simply MUST hire Tamer to guide you through your Cairo adventure! There is no other way. Our flight came in 4 hours late deep in the middle of the night, and Tamer was right there waiting for us with a huge friendly smile! From the second we met him, we felt like we were with family- a fun and comfortable experience. We only had 2.5 days, and he took us everywhere! I saw so many amazing and incredible places. The traffic problem- solved! The secrets of the Nile- We saw them! The driver dropped us off at the front of our stops and then would sneak around and pick us up at the exit! No waiting and no headaches at all! I felt like we were elite movie stars! The luxury of it! I can't imagine doing it any other way. Tamer is an experienced Egyptologist and Bible Scholar and explained everything so well. Once, I found myself explaining to a couple the 'real story' as I noticed other guides did not share the truth of places and did not care for their people like we were cared for. We didn't have much time, but we were able to cut so many traffic and crowded corners because of Tamer. From Coptic Churches to lesser known tombs to a little place that Jesus spent a few months of his childhood it- we saw it all! One of my favorite activities was the sooq. He knows where to go to get the best souvenirs! And he definitely helps the pocketbook! Whatever money that we spent on Tamer and the Driver, we made up for with everything else! Book Him! You won't regret it.

During our 2-day trip to Cairo, we traveled comfortably without any difficulty, even though we had a 4-year-old child. Our guide Toprak Aslan was very helpful in everything. He showed us around a complex city like Cairo, which is difficult to navigate, very easily. Since he had a good command of the program and the city, he took very quick action according to our situation and enabled us to complete our trip both smoothly and completely.

Tamer was an amazing tour guide. He organized everything from start to finish. He waited for us once we got off plane and made sure we were checked in and ready to board. Handled everything with white glove service. He is extremely knowledgeable and was very helpful even when we were bargaining for souvenirs. It was an amazing trip and experience. I highly recommend him for your next trip to Egypt.
