It was our second trip to Egypt about a year and a half after the first one. This trip was different because we were traveling with another couple and adventure and budget goals were different than the first trip.
Tamer did it again! I don’t think we’ll ever get tired of visiting Egypt and that’s because of the wonderful guides we have. Tamer creates a detailed plan that’s carefully considered with all of your details and the result is always a trip of a lifetime. We spent time in Cairo with Tamer and requested a focus on the Cairo Museum, so we spent most of a day wandering through the exhibits and asking Tamer questions as we roamed. It was perfect. We also wanted to spend time at Garbage City and Tamer made that happen as well. On our first trip we stayed in a luxurious hotel, but this trip we asked for budget lodgings and the Anglican Guesthouse was just right; the gorgeous Marriott hotel was nearby so we could enjoy the restaurants and opulence; Tamer thought of everything.
We flew to Luxor where we met our friend and guide Ayman Ibrahim and enjoyed a 4-night Nile cruise and a visit with our friends. Ayman has a gift for making history come alive. We love the pace of the towns and villages along the Nile!
The end of our visit was spent in Hurghada, where Tamer selected the Continental Hotel resort. It was amazing to walk out by the pools and feel the air, its hard to explain but the weather was so perfect and you didn’t feel cold or hot…but just right. Some of the group went snorkeling in the Red Sea and we all went boating. It was reasonably priced and beautiful out on the water. I’m told the snorkeling was spectacular. All the meals were part of the package, like a cruise. The rooms were lovely and clean.
So, its fair to say Tamer did it again! Egypt will be a destination for us again, I know.

Tamer is a very knowledgeable guide and he singlehandedly had made our visit to Cairo a very fruitful experience! We went to see the pyramids, we took the camel ride to see the sphinx, we visited the museum, the boat, old Cairo, garbage city, the mosque and churches. We’re impressed with all the information he gave us, how could he remember so much and in details too. He took us to eat where the local people eat, so we got to experience really authentic local cooking and the price was fantastic. Thank you so much, Tamer for giving us an forgettable experience. Our Cairo trip was magical because of you, Tamer! We highly would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a tour guide!

We spent three days in Cairo with Tamer and really had a wonderful time. Tamer really did a great job of taking us to all the most interesting spots in Cairo and teaching us so much about the fascinating history of this city. What was really great was that we had so many activities and Tamer was able to keep the kids entertained the whole time which is no easy feat. We really had a wonderful time and recommend him to anyone interested in getting a fun, informative, and comprehensive tour of Cairo.

Based on reviews and research on Egyptian tour guides we decided to plan/book our December 2020 Egypt trip with Tamer. We started our itinerary in Luxor. There we met an associate of Tamer's named Ayman. He was our tour guide on the Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Because of COVID there were only a handful of ships touring at that time and most of the attractions were pretty much desolate. Tamer and Ayman have this down to a science. They've done so many of these tours that they are very flexible with time/schedule changes and are able to modify the itinerary on the fly. The cruise was aboard the MS Concerto. The cruise is booked and paid for as part of the whole package. They will quote you all of the transport between locations in private vehicles and handle all of the logistics. Also the prices quoted are very reasonable.
What is not included are the Egyptian tourist visa, entrance fees to sites, non-cruise accommodations, flights, tour guide tips, and any extra requests that you may have. But this is all handled up front and noted in any previous conversations.
After the Luxor-Aswan tour we flew to Cairo and Tamer was going to be our tour guide but he was unable to do so because he got sick. However, he arranged another tour guide for us named Mosry. Once in Cairo they were also able to coordinate a COVID test for us (airline required) along our scheduled tours.
Overall the tour guides are extremely nice, knowledgeable and professional. We had a great time in Egypt and with all of the uncertainty of traveling during COVID, we were glad to contract the services of Tamer, Ayman and Mosry.

I had such a great time in Egypt with my mom and her friends. Tamer and his team were absolutely amazing and were beyond accommodating. I would highly highly recommend using Tamer and his team when traveling to Egypt, you will not be disappointed at all. I travel a lot and use many different agencies and I can say that Tamer has really outdone himself - super informative, easy to understand, and I felt safe the entire time.

Simply amazing. Very informative, kind, patient, and attentive. Nermeen was punctual and always had great suggestions for things to see, do, eat, etc. We felt so happy and comfortable having a female guide that we could trust and relax around. She even met us on the ground at the crack of dawn after hot air ballooning and walked us to the airport entrance when it was blocked off the vehicles. I can’t say enough great things and will book her again if returning to Luxor. Love you Nermeen!

Ayman was a great tour guide! He planned our itinerary down to the last detail and also adjusted time for us to do a hot air balloon ride which became available last minute and was amazing to do! His English was super and his knowledge of Ancient Egypt History was excellent, he was always willing to answer all of our questions. He accompanied us to the street markets which we really appreciated and also suggested a great spot for food on the last day. I could not recommend Ayman enough, he was the perfect tour guide for Luxor!

Tamer was our guide for 3 days while in Egypt. We thoroughly enjoyed his friendly personality and insightful knowledge about the places we visited. We traveled to the Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, Khan el Khalili market, Coptic Cairo, Garbage City as well as a day trip over to Alexandria. All along the way, Tamer was great about preparing us for what we would see and what to expect. Tamer has a passion for Egyptian history and Biblical history and he weaved them together for us all throughout our time with him.

I have conducted a cross cultural experience for students. Tamer planned and organized our trip. This was my third time taking a trip with students and the first that I had Tamer organize. I have seen places this time that previous tour guides didn't show us. Tamer also gave us tips on how to handle money, persistent sellers and negotiate/bargain. Being a native of the country I have to testify that he really has an effective system for his clients. He is very knowledgeable, both in history and Biblical connectiibs. Tamer also took us to reasonably-priced souvenir shops. Of all the trips I conducted this one has been the most enjoyable, the most stress-free and I had the most peace of mind because of Tamer. I highly recommend him, specially if your trip also has an academic component.

I could not imagine touring Egypt in a better way. Tamer is an excellent and experienced guide who was able to provide an exclusive and behind the scenes access to Egypt that you simply cannot get in a large bus group or by doing it yourself. There is no way that you would be able to see some of the most memorable things without an expert fully licensed guide who has local connections and knowledge.
With him we were able to interact with the local people which was so much more interesting. Beyond that he is a fun and amazing person. We saw so much without waiting in any lines, with an all-inclusive fee and all along the way expert explanation and insight. He guided us through temples, pyramids, museums, local attractions, churches, restaurants, the old city, local workshops and the best places to buy an assortment of goods at fair prices, advising us on quality and price also.
We had a luxurious mini-bus just for us with a professional driver from the airport and all places in between.
For a portion of the trip we flew south to Luxor, where Tamer arranged for another local guide, Ayman, to meet us at the airport and provide local insight and context while there which was absolutely superb. Ayman took us through Karnak, Luxor, valleys of kings and queens plus we got to see the countryside.
Hiring Tamer to escort us during our time in Egypt was the best money I ever spent on a holiday.
