Next to the Coptic Church is the Orthodox Church. Beautiful. Some rooms are carved in the stone, under the ground, typically Greek icons and religious items, you take a taxi, the driver stays out of the Coptic area, he will wait for you, no problem, the area is very well guarded and secure, police everywhere, I recommend.

A pretty little church which houses some lovely icons situated in the Coptic area of Cairo which is a safe area to visit given the security that surrounds the area itself. A peaceful place to gather one's thoughts.

There is much to see in this church you really need a guide. Plenty of Icons and history associated with this church.Well worth a visit

I love to go everytime in Cairo and pray ther. It's a small church where the Virgin appeared there repetatively in the sixties. You have to go and get that holy feeling yourself.
