There are few more breath taking views in the world. Great photo opportunity. Try a slow motion jump off the small fence with the pyramids behind you,

Take the full tour, all the pyramids. They are awesome. Marvel at how they could have been built, the height, the scale, the symmetry. You must visit the solar boat, extraordinary, in almost perfect condition.

The Giza Plateau would be the main reason most tourists would visit Cairo as it holds some of the most famed structures in antiquity.

These iconic landmarks are known the world over but to really appreciate them you have to visit them yourself and get up close. I went before Trip Advisor was created. Well worth it.
