Not a place I would return too, the hagglers are overwhelming. You cannot take two steps without being asked to purchase something. I was so disappointed how the Egyptian government has not correctly managed this site. No market just wandering hordes of people trying to...More

Pictures do not do justice to this incredible site. Do yourself a favour and use a local knowledgeable guide. You will learn so much about this wondrous place. Take the camel ride - touristy but makes for keepsake pictures.

While we enjoyed the tour, the treatment of horses at Giza was appalling. The horses are brutalized by the young kids giving the rides. One horse was being whipped and screamed at while FALLING down trying to pull an over filled buggy of lazy tourists...More

Maybe it's just me, but seeing the pyramids in person has always been high up on my list of musts. The Giza Plateau provides a wonderful view of all the pyramids together. The easiest way up is to take a camel ride, or horse carriage...More

It was truly a lifetime experience to see the Pyramids and Sphinx in person and, of course, to do the obligatory camel ride for the photo ops. The walk up to the King's Chamber was a good cardio work out. The only reason I would...More

The one spot that you can see all three in their wonder. And actually see how the second pyramid "looks" taller than the Great Pyramid, but isn't. This is where you get your "jump" and "step" photos at. Plus it is also the spot to...More

Pyramids and the Sphinx are impressive. However the areas around the sites are just disgusting, rubbish everywhere. Annoying vendors everywhere even in the site after the gate. We could not even have a min of peace to take a picture without any vendor come to...More

After being in Jordan, Morocco, Turkey... I thought that I would be ready for Egypt. It was a mistake. All the vendors and guides we met were crook... They tried to racket us. We stayed half an hour there and it was enough. Egypt as...More
