Big and nice gardens. Easy to reach by Taxi or public transportation. Better to visit during working week days (Sunday- Thursday)

Great gardens, awesome views of Cairo. These gardens are well-kept, and the restaurant and gift shop are a must-visit when in Cairo. A great way to spend your afternoon or evening. I'm glad that the park officials are strict about food that enters/ picnics/ bicycles, etc.

This place is a heart of the old Cairo, where a green spot exists through the middle of jammed Cairo

Cairo is great, but for foreigners it can get pretty stressful dealing with the chaos of traffic, the garbage, and the regular scammers. Al Azhar park on the other hand is a clean, quiet and green space, and it can be a great place to go if you just need to breath for a bit before heading into the busy... More

Lovely and quiet park in the otherwise chaotic big city of Cairo. Very nice restaurants in the park. Great view over the city.

Evening after 6:00pm is probably the best time to visit the park with the lumination of the place attributing its eternal beauty. Great... More

Everyone is super friendly and often want to have their picture taken with you. There are a couple of restaurants there ad is a lovely place to... More
