My first trip to Egypt was soon before Covid. I had searched the Internet for the most highly reviewed small travel company out there, and Kemet topped the list. They helped me plan and execute a myriad of details that time, and in almost three weeks of travel on my own all over the place, everything went off without a hitch.
When I decided to return to Egypt with a group of friends this year, of course, I immediately contacted my old friends, Monty and Randa at Kemet!
Once again Kemet was terrific! They attended to every item on the list, airport pick-up and drop-off, four different hotels in and outside of Cairo, tours, transportation, dinner plans, PCR testing…..you name it! One of the people in the group texted Kemet just before getting on the plane in New York, asking someone to stop at a drug store to pick up something she had forgotten. To tell you just how fabulous their service, Monty, the owner of Kemet, met her at the plane with the requested curling iron in hand! Now where does anyone ever get service of that calibre!!
Kemet is also great about responding to your wishes about the tour guide you will have. We all know that guides everywhere in the world are famous (or infamous) for taking you into shops where they make a commission. If you want to see sights rather than shops, tell Monty or Randa, and they will make this clear when hiring your guide.
All in all, after two trips with Kemet, I am pleased to tell you that this is one outstanding travel company. I don't yet have plans for a third trip to this wonderful country, but you may be sure that I will be calling my old friends at Kemet to take care of the details!
