This is the main tourist souk and, as such, you'll be bothered by constant touting and pestering. It's worth seeing. Take 2 tips from me. Dont go in the evening, go instead on a Friday after prayers, Secondly, go to the Tentmaker's souk nearby first....More

If you're in Cairo for shopping, than this is the place to be in as you can find almost everything from clothes to cigarettes, decorations, etc. Everything is negotiable so make sure you're prepared for it.

You must visit this old part of CAI. You will find all shopping shops for antics , gold and a lot off staff.

from downtown taxi costs 30egp max, horse ride 50 egp for 30 mins , guide tour guy for 150 egp/hour
