A visit to the Citadel was well worth it. It is located in a beautiful location on a hill overlooking Cairo. The architecture was fantastic.

Beautifully designed fort & within it Mohammed Ali Pasha mosque which is a traditional Turkish architecture mosque with beautiful dombs, symbolic pencil minarets, interior design & calligraphy all were marvellous. The walls of citadel gives nice panoramic view of cairo city.
