Mahmoud is a great guide. His knowledge of the old egypt is endless and he shows you the best pieces the museum has to offer. The tour is with a touch of humor and doesnt take longer than 2,5 hours. Taxi driver and his car are great. It has aircondition.

We ended the day at a local outdoor beautiful restaurant, and were even able to consume some of the local lake fish (if you chose). The highlight of the trip for us was the initial museum on our way to the desert - if you’ve enjoyed the Egyptian museums, you’ll really enjoy this small museum with your guide! Overall, a fairly good escape from the usual Cairo and Luxor cities!…
