We just finished our trip with Ramasside and I’m writing this from my phone on our way home, so a longer review will follow. Before waiting too long I just wanted to put this initial review out there and say that Ramasside Tours is a fantastic operator. I highly recommend them to anyone reading, and will recommend them to friends and family when we get back home.
Our first contact, Nada, did a wonderful job arranging our itinerary, personalizing to our travel schedule and desired activities. All correspondence was prompt and professional.
Ayoub took care of all the airport logistics and arranged 24 hour COVID tests for our departure. He made our travels through Egypt easy. His hospitality made us feel as if we belonged right at home in Egypt.
For our Cairo visit we were lucky enough to get Mina as our guide. He is like a walking encyclopedia. In flawless English he gave us a wonderful tours through both ancient and medieval Cairo. Then he showed us some other hidden gems in the city. He clearly knows and loves Cairo. I can’t say enough about what a great job he did.
For our Luxor to Aswan cruise we had Hassan as our guide. He was fantastic as well. He took special care throughout our time with him to make sure the guide service he provided met our families wants and needs. Hassan has a deep knowledge of Egyptology and relates it to his clients well. We were traveling with a friend, one who conveyed his deep love for Egypt to us.

So I only had one day in Cairo...I booked a private tour as a single female traveller. Firstly, the communication with the company was excellent. We had lots of messages sorting out what I wanted to do and when I wanted to be picked up. The guide, Amir, met me and took me to Memphis, Sakkara and Giza with a driver who I called 'Friday' because that's what his name means. Amir knows everything about the history of Egypt and his English was excellent. I was very interested and he told me so much information that I would not have known. I asked lots of questions and he knew every answer. I learned about the story of the Upper and Lower Kingdoms from the days of Memphis up to the days of the Greeks. I did some of the add-ons and my advice would be to just do as many add ons as you want. They are good value because the cost of the add on is barely more than the ticket price and the guide will make the experience so much better for you. Go into the great pyramid! Amir also took me to a carpet making school, a cotton outlet and a papyrus workshop. You can buy if you want but it isn't a hard sell. Being with Amir also meant that I didn't have any hassle from people trying to sell me stuff or hustle me. There are a lot of people around the great pyramids who are trying to get money from tourists Amir made this no problem for me. He told me what I could expect and protected me from being bothered. This was an excellent tour.

We (My wife and I with our 2 sons 12 and 8 years old) had a truly wonderful and memorable experience in Egypt, being our first time there, and it was mostly due to the excellent organizing and professionalism of Ramasside. The booking and catering of our trip to what we wanted exactly was super easy with Nada, our tour organizer, who was available easily via WhatsApp and email before we left the United States. We visited Cairo, then Luxor, then Hurghada for snorkeling, snd then back to Cairo for a day. Ramasside arranged all internal flights, hotel bookings, and transfers to perfection.
We spent the first day in Cairo going to Khan El Khalili alone, but I would recommend exploring Cairo with a guide as vendors are very aggressive which can spoil your experience a bit, and it is very crowded, not to mention the traffic can make it take a long time. We then saw the pyramids and the Egyptian Museum the next day with our guide Mina, and on the one day in Cairo at the end of the trip, we did the Islamic Cairo and Citadel tour with our guide Ayub early in the morning so it was empty and we could appreciate the architecture. Both Ayub and Mina were truly exceptional in their professionalism, courtesy, buffering any vendors, and their knowledge of history was astounding. I would recommend reading as much as you can before visiting as you will get much more out of the trip and their knowledge.
Luxor was the highlight of the historical part of our trip, and we took the hot air balloon ride at sunrise over the Valley of the Kings (highly recommended). Haytham was our guide for the 2 days we spent exploring the east and West Bank with the temples on the east and the tombs on the west. Again, Haytham made the experience exceptional, and went out of his way to even help with other logistical issues.
We then spent 2 days relaxing and snorkeling in Hurghada before returning to Cairo. Ayub helped us get the COVID test before flying back.
Overall, we had an exceptional experience mainly because of the organizing of Ramasside. We have traveled to quite a few places in Europe and South America as a family, and Egypt in general is not quite as easy to navigate on your own, so I can see why sometimes people may not have the optimal experience. I would highly recommend using a tour company to make the most of the Egypt experience, and Ramasside definitely came through.

If there were more stars to give I would give them without a doubt!
This tour is an amazing lifetime experience.
Their level of professionalism is unparalleled, their service is of the utmost extreme, and their kindness is extraordinary.
I was supposedly arriving in Alexandria but was rerouted by the airline to Cairo last minute, but Ramasside did not care, they adjusted for me without any fees or hassle. I felt like an elite customer to them and they felt like an elite company to me.
They picked me straight from Cairo airport 15 minutes earlier than our agreed upon time and we were off. I was shown an amazing tour of the pyramids not just telling me what was what but rather telling me the story of the most fascinating culture on this planet. Our tour guide Mina, who I thought would be just another guide turned out to be my friend, bodyguard, walking encyclopedia of knowledge, and guardian angel by the end of my day. He showed us where to go and when to go, explained everything about anything I wanted to know, and showed us how to navigate around with the locals.
I was always told that seeing the pyramids live and taking in all the scenery is something that must be experienced in one's lifetime, and I would recommend doing it with Ramasside tours 110%.
Mina told us about every pyramid, he advised us on the best camel rides around it and made sure everything was to our liking. I felt his genuine care and passion for history and this sparked my interest and made for the best trip to the pyramids I could have ever imagined.
Also with regards to COVID they take every precaution you can think of, from hand sanitizers every-time we would go out, to wearing masks all the time,I felt safe and comfortable every step of the way.
I am not one to usually write reviews but the level of service and professionalism this company showed is something that I am recommending not just to the readers but to my family and friends as well.

We had a wonderful day with our guide, Amir. He was attentive and knowledgeable making our day the best! We started at the pyramids, where he explained Egyptian history and gave some context to the pyramids. We saw the pyramids and Sphinx and Amir was a great photographer! Then we stopped at a papyrus shop to look at/buy papyrus artwork (be sure to haggle, I got our piece for less than half of what they originally asked). After lunch overlooking the pyramids, we went o the museum. Amir took us around the main attractions and explained everything. Having a knowledgable guide in the museum was a must - it wouldn't have been as memorable of an experience with his explanations. Thank you Amir for a great day!

We, family of 4, did a three day Cairo tour visiting all of the popular sights. Our guide, Michael, was with us every step along the way and ensured we had a memorable experience. He knew all the photographic tricks to take great pictures at the Great Pyramid and Sphinx.
There is so much to see and do and Michael ensured we had the right level of activity to meet the needs of each member of the family.
I would definitely recommend visiting this city and endorse Michael as an expert guide who definitely adds value to the experience.

My wife and I travelled to Egypt in Feb 2022. We started to plan vacation to this one of the oldest ancient civilization to admire the surviving and well preserved ancient treasures which is rich in history. The architectural monuments, pyramids and tombs are truly impressive and is a wow to both of us.
We had compared few option whether to do it DIY travel, travel in group or private tour. We used to travel few other countries and most of them we do it DIY but this time we have decided to engage tour agency due to convenience of communication and during this pandemic season. Numerous packages offered via websites and eventually the package offered by Ramasside that caught our attention. Well done to the customer service Ms. Nada. All our enquiries were attended and our requests were done efficiently.
We find it pleasant and comfortable trip throughout the journey. We started in Cairo and our tour guide is Mr. Amir. He is very knowledgeable to the tour area and on his suggestion to change the itinerary sequence we had avoided crowd during the visit to each site. A good big thumbs up to Mr. Amir.
We also had Aswan to Luxor tour by cruise and along the trip we are accompanied by tour guide Mr. Haitham. To us, Mr. Haitham is more than a tour guide and like a friend who treat us well. Small detail that matter the most to us. For instance, we had to wake up early in morning before breakfast was being served, we were treated by titbits. We also feel that being prioritized and credit to the seniority and experience of Mr. Haitham.
We enjoy nile cruise and thank you JAZ cruise for excellent service.
We had day trip to Alexandria on the day before we left Egypt. Thank you the kind man who brought us to visit each historical sites in Alexandria and we had PCR test in Alexandria as well.
Overall, the itinerary is well organized and it is more than our expectation. We learnt that tourism sector is one of the leading economy sector in Egypt and significant efforts to improve the security and public perception that Egypt is safe country to visit. We feel safe and enjoyable to visit Egypt with Ramasside.

We love Egypt! Just finished Cairo tour. A wonderful experience with guide Mina in Cairo. Would recommend tour with Ramasside. Our arrival in Cairo after travelling for over 24 hours from Australia we were greeted by a friendly face in Mohammad who helped us through immigration, customs and helped us with our bags. Our trip into the city was with knowledgable guide Zisau and excellent driver Mahmood in the very busy Cairo traffic. Excellent stay at Hilton Ramses. Tour of the Egyptian Museum, Pyramids and Sphinx with Mina was fantastic he is an excellent guide, so knowledgeable, kind and fun. Light show at the Pyramids and Sphinx a must to do. Our driver Gomar was so skilled and we felt very safe in busy traffic. We also visited Coptic and Islamic Cairo so historic. Off to Alexandria tomorrow. Our trip to Egypt has been amazing so far, thanks Afaf at Ramasside for making all the arrangements.

I cannot sing enough praise for the staff of Ramasside Tours. Their ratings are high for a reason, and I'm so happy I booked my 5-day Cairo tour with this company!
My travel buddy and I, two female backpackers, decided to play it safe on our first time to Egypt and join a tour. Throughout the entire booking process Ramasside kept us organized and informed. Our arrival feel like a breeze after a long flight as we were greeted warmly by Haitham Masoud and treated like royalty, bag service and all. Ayoub and our driver Omar transported us safely through the haphazard Cairo traffic, and we were thrilled by our accommodation, with an unexpected pyramid-view balcony. The first two hours sold the whole trip.
Each day tour was well organized, and staff were great on communication, especially if there were any changes in schedule. To our surprise, each tour was private, so our personal driver and guide made us feel well cared for (*spoiled*). All drivers were excellent on safety and efficiency and our guides were some of the most educated humans I've ever met, just absolute scholars.
Ahmed was courteous and knowledable, making our first day exploring Memphis, Saqqara, and The Great Pyramids of Giza extra fun. Ahmed was full of architectural facts, goofy photo ops, and cultural tips for us; we learned more than I could even retain!
Our second guide Mohammed was equally polite and intelligent, patiently answering our questions as we wandered through the Egyptian museum, The Alabaster Mosque, and Coptic Cairo. Mohammed not only taught us about the traditions of his ancestors, but also about the current cultural and religious climate, deepening our appreciation for this magnificent country.

The booking process was very smooth and seamless. I booked with Haitham and he was very patient with my numerous emails and requests. Through all the back and forth, the response was in a timely manner and all questions were answered. We were taken care of from the moment we landed in Cairo. We had Ali who escorted us from the airport numerous times as we flew around Egypt. He was kind, friendly and answered all of our questions about Egyptian life. Day 1 of cairo we toured with Bishoy who was knowledgeable and even extended our tour a little bit as we ran late. Day 2 we flew to luxor and was picked up by our amazing guide Amr. He was incredibly patient, let us take our time visiting each site and you can feel how passionate he is about egpytian history. Lastly, we toured with our guide Makbola to Aswan and Abu simbel and she always greeted us with a smile and made sure we made our flight back to Cairo. Tour went off without a hitch. Everything was taken care, we didn't even have to think. Our drivers were great and picked us up on time everyday. There was no pressure to add anything onto our tour, which we highly appreciated. Everyone was helpful and accomadating. Egypt is extremely safe and even if we ran into any trouble, we had Ali as our contact for anything we needed at any time. He was kind and humourous. I booked an 8 day trip to Egypt thru Ramisside. Im trying to pay off some of the balance but when I use their website it keeps saying transaction was unsuccessful. I called my credit card company and its not on my end. Anyone have trouble trying to make a payment thru the Ramisside website? Anyone make a payment by another method such as Wise or something else?

I used this company mate and they are abut useless when asking them for help ect. Once you land is a different story, my guide was with me all the way. I had no issue. I changed my trip half way through and they adapted to my needs. Even added extra bits here and there

In light of the numerous fake reviews, I am now less than comfortable at the thought of booking a tour with this company because fake reviews says allot about the company's character. yesterday I was positive I was using this company but after 4 hours of reading reviews that are obviously fake I am now considering between this company, Abercrombie & Kent, Tauck and Alexander & Roberts. So here are my questions about the tour that is listed as the ultimate luxury tour that puts people on the Sanctuary Sun Boat. if you have not been on the Sanctuary Boat, please do not respond because it is the only tour I am considering and I don't want you to waste your time posting about some other tour. (1) I know that Tauck people have their own guides on the ship. But Alexander & Roberts people use the guides on the ship that are provided by the ship. Do the Ramasside guests use the guides provided by the ship or do the Ramasside guests have guides provided by Ramasside? Has anyone ever paid for one boat but was the put on a different ship? Also around how much time is spent touring and how much time is spent on the boat? Tauck and Kensington Tours both list around 4 to 5 hours of touring each day and the rest is free time is called free time. Is there anything people did not like about their Ultimate Luxury Tour? Which tombs did you go in at the Valley of the Kings? If you wanted tickets to go in King Tut's, Seti's and Ramses VI did Ramasside arrange for you to have tickets for those tombs? I know they are an additional price and not included as the three that company with the general ticket. Also, around how much time did you have at the Valley of the Kings? Did you feel rushed during any point of your Ultimate Luxury trip and is there anything that you wished you could have done but were not able to? Oh, what did you do on the day you arrived back from Abu Simbel?

I had individual and private guides at every location. My guide Amr met us at the airport and never left us during the entire cruise segment until returning us to the airport. Since he was a personal guide he offered to take us to any tomb we desired. He did have recommendations based upon the quality of the tomb as opposed to the notoriety. We went to three and they were incredible to see. His recommendation was excellent. So glad he was there to lend his knowledge. Our guides never rushed us. Always asked if we wanted to see anything else. As for choice of ship. The website indicated certain ships included in the package. We were definitely placed on one of those ships. I can appreciate that you can’t guarantee any one ship until the tickets are purchased. They cannot control if a ship is full or out of service during your chosen vacation time. What I can tell you is that hospitality was very important to them. Nothing that we asked did they ever deny. I appreciated my guides greatly and showed them. In fact I still converse with one of them.

I am new to booking tours online, from the reviews Ramasside seems to be reputable. I am worried about sending a large deposit and get to Egypt and nothing and no one is there, UGH? How reputable is this company

Hi , rest assured. The are very professional. I paid the full amount , about 2 months prior to arriving in Egypt. They sent me my internal flight ticket copies upon payment , hotel booking confirmation etc. All was above board. Their online secured payment system is also safe to use.

Hi, we are planning to travel to Egypt from Amman to Alexandria on the 3rd September 2018 and planing to fly back to Amman on 13 September to catch our flight back to Malaysia from Amman on the 15th Sept.
