Exploring Luxor was a dream come true! The ancient ruins of Luxor Temple left me speechless, and sailing down the Nile at sunset was breathtaking.

We had a great experience. Comms were easy - I had concerns when our hotel in Sahl Hasheesh wasn’t listed - but this was quickly resolved.
The flight to Cairo was all simple and then started out amazing day in Cairo.
Our guide - Marwa - was amazing! So knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions. We felt it also made a difference having a lady showing us round what can be a very male dominated country.
Words. Any describe the museum and the pyramids themselves - so I won’t even try!! They’re beyond words!
And amazing experience and utterly worth the cost and the 3am start!!
Thank you everyone involved!

Very flexible and reliable. Our guide Asma Saber had a lot of knowledge and was very kind. There is a lot included for the price. Totally worth it, will definitely recommend this tour and guide!

My wife and I went to do the boat ride to the Nubian village. They took $2000 egp from her purse. We had just taken money out of the atm about 20 minutes prior to going. We went for a walk on the beach. He said my wife can keep her purse there. We got it back it was moved from where we left it. Come to find out when we get back to our hotel the money is gone. So I would leave it 0 start if we could. I hope to get a refund since I didn’t get any money back when I let the guide know. He said they didn’t take it. Well I have the atm receipt that I got the money.

We know how it is disappointed when you met sudden circumstances in your trip . But all have to know that the guest contact us 24 hours after the trip informing that he lost his money , keep in consideration that he went several place after the trip . Any way we sent him private car and guide ( free of charge ) to go and search in every spot he went with us , even we brought to him the boat he ride . Also it is strange behavior to keep big amount of money in purse and go for a walk in a beach as guest mentioned himself in review . We hope that any one read this review to listen to the sound of logic also we are always ready for help , help and support any of our guest under any situation .

For weeks before our trip, I was looking all over Tripadvisor for a one-day trip to Cairo from Hurghada by plane, to see Giza and the museum (only). However, all of the reviews I could find were from other people who complained about guides who would spend very little time at the pyramids/museum but then rush them to the bazaar, where they complained about being encouraged to buy souvenirs. This was not what we wanted, and we wanted a historical tour on just Giza and the museum.

So I’m very pleased to say that we found exactly what we wanted (and more) with Gouda. He was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Cairo. The whole drive from the airport to the pyramids, he was teaching us the stories of ancient Egypt and was very engaging with his communication.

Three days before our arrival in Egypt, we had excellent confirmations via WhatsApp regarding all of our flight and transfers, and the night before our flight, Gouda contacted us to confirm where he would meet us at the airport.

Gouda went out his way to make sure we got the maximum out of the tour. By arranging us to be at the pyramids by 08:30, when there would be less people. He also knew the best photo opportunity spots and was happy to tweak the tour around what was important to us.

His wealth of knowledge was excellent and we learned so much from him. Once we had finished at the pyramids and Sphinx, he asked us what would be more important for our lunch, if we wanted an expensive restaurant with a view of Giza, or if we wanted a more local restaurant with great food. We went with the second choice and had one of the best chicken shawarma we’ve ever had, with the cost for 2 people being around £10 (GBP) in total!

With the extra time we saved by being early at the pyramids. He offered an optional stop at a papyrus and oil shop, there was no obligation to buy anything and the shop owners were not at all pushy with selling either. We were given free drinks and a relaxing explanation of how papyrus is made and how perfume and oils were created.
Some users on trustpilot complained about other tour companies forcing them to visit these places and spending over an hour waiting to leave.
With Gouda, he made it clear that this stop was optional, he explained that we didn’t have to buy anything or feel pressured; and he also took us here as they offered the cleanest toilets for free (which can’t be said at the pyramids themselves!). As soon as we were no longer interested, we had to signal to Gouda and he instantly took us back to the car without any pushy selling. Because of this, these visits were a pleasant surprise and interesting.

At the museum, Gouda was in his element. He clearly was an expert and knew where the best exhibitions were. He took us around the key parts of the museum first and then gave us our own free time to explore while he waited by the exit before taking us back to the airport.

I cannot recommend this trip enough.

This is a horribly bad service. The guy does not communicate and utterly rude. To a point that makes me feel unsafe to go on the tour.

I booked the tour for July 4th, which I assume they will pick me up on July 4th. But it turns out they arranged the guide to pick me up on July 3rd when I have not arrived Egypt yet.

It is a terrible misunderstanding. But I was hoping to resolve it somehow. Yet the person is very rude and no empathy at all. Constantly blaming me while he never clearly communicated. Then he threatened me to cancel the trip since I already paid. I cannot do anything about it. My flight leaves tomorrow.

The lack of communication, and constantly accusation without any empathy.

Be warned. If anything goes wrong, they are horrible to talk to. No customer service. No any kind words. Rude rude rude to the core. A terrible first taste of Egypt since this is my first trip to Egypt.

As Golden Egypt tours considered from the top and most experience travel agencies in Egypt , we want to inform that this client booked sunrise at Moses Mountain 4 July at 3:00 AM morning and her pick up point far about 5 hours from Moses Mountain . We sent to her to confirm Pick up time 3 July at night and she reconfirmed the same then she suddenly discovered that she had misunderstanding , we were flexible with her and try to find solutions , but she decided to make report and review us . All communications we can send as approval . Golden Egypt tours will remain always the golden choice for any service inside Egypt .

One of the best experiences of my life! I visited on new year's eve in 2013, the climb was amazing and felt like a National Geographic documentary. 😃 Witnessing the sky and the sunrise was a breath-taking experience. Would love to go back one day. ❤️

This trip was booked with Sharm happy tours. Pick up time 21:00 at our hotel in Sharm el Sheikh by coach to saint Catherine monastery arriving about 01:00. Start the walk up which will take about 4 hours to reach the top. Everyone keeps trying to sell you gloves‘hats’ ponchos to keep warm but you sweat on the way up. I had jeans and a jumper on but didn’t need it shorts would have been ok for me.when you get to the top it can feel cold then you can rent a blanket if needed but we was ok .The last 40 minutes is the hardest 740 steps which I think you need to be of average fitness.I was surprised to see all types of people at the top . So it shows if you really want to get there you will. Sunrise is at 06:00 and you won’t be disappointed the view is absolutely stunning some great photo opportunities. We descended in half the time 2 hours . The journey up and down can be made by camels but only three quarters of the way the last 750 steps 40 minutes is by foot. Went you eventually get to the bottom waiting for you will be saint Catherine monastery. It’s place has lots of history and a very spiritual experience not to be missed

Stunning expirience to see all the ancient Egypt marvels gathered at one place. You have to take a lot of time to see everything and the lines are huge, but it's worth every minute. If you are on a short few hours trip (like us), first go to the Tutanchamon floor where his burial treasures are kept. The privilege to see these items is enormous and after that you can admire anything else. The scale of the art and architecture of Egypt is massive, but I fully relized that in this museum. The only negative thing os that all the mummies are taken out of the museum with intention from next year to be housed in a new museum, dedicated for them. But however, the artefacts exhibited are worth it.
