My first trip to Egypt couldn't happen as smoothly as it did without the help and assistance of Islam, the managing director of New Winner Tours; I was coming from a six-week travel in Italy, and he helped me to get the details of traveling to Egypt all taken care of in advance, such as getting the necessary adaptors for my electronic equipments so I could connect from my hotel right away. I don't know of a travel company who would go out of their way to purchase adaptors for their clients in advance and leave them at my hotel, before my arrival. I really appreciated this convenience and extra thought they put into their tailored services. After landing on the first day, I made my travel itineraries through Islam as well, everything was a little last-minute for me but Islam took care of my wishes in sightseeing in two days, deciding which cities and sights to visit was not easy but he gave me two itineraries to choose from, based on my choices, he stayed up late to arrange everything for me, so I could go on my tour the next morning and meet my tour guide Bassam the next day. Bassam is a great tour guide, he is knowledgeable about where he is showing me, and he is also my first introduction to the religion of Islam as well. I asked him many questions about the religion, and he answered them all for me, to satisfy my curiosity. Also, it was Ramadan, one of the Muslim holidays during my visit, so Bassam could not eat while I was having my breakfast or lunch, that was very kind of him to try to meet my needs when he could not eat or drink during Ramadan. I was impressed by this level of hospitality. The Islamic mosques tour was great, Bassam took me to a special shop so I could get a proper head scarf for the mosques visit, it was not required and some mosques will provide the head scarf, but I would like to pay respect to these mosques so I got my own. Overall, my experience with New Winner Tours was fantastic, they made me feel well taken care of in Egypt, I would definitely work with Islam again for my next trip to Egypt. I still have Luxor and Aswan on my list, plus the Egyptian people were so kind to me, I will have to at least learn to say Thank You in Arabic next time.
