Perfect trip with High End Journeys

High End Journeys handled all our arrangements for 10 days in Egypt for a group of 8,beginning with meeting us at the airport bearing our visas. We spend a week in Cairo and 3 days on a Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Internal flights were arranged, all vans were A-1 with cold water awaiting us. Sussana in Cairo and Victor in Upper Egypt were fantastic guides. They were knowledgeable an!d personable.
Our journey was customized our journey exactly as we asked!

3,2,1.....Amazing experience with High End Journeys in Kemet! Our family of 15 (7 adults 8 children) spent 10 days in Egypt and High End really delivered an exceptional trip. From initial contact, zoom calls, endless emails responding to our requests/questions, paramount handling of our split payments amid a banking crisis in Egypt, coordination of trip logistics, vegetarian food accommodations and ultimately delivery of a wonderful tour of Egypt, High End Journeys fulfilled a luxury experience for us all. Our guide Ramy Darwish was wonderful. He was with us through the entirety of the trip traveling with us even on internal flights and bus transfers. I really appreciated his in depth knowledge about all things Egypt, patience, flexibility to offer itinerary options (as was very much needed when jet lag set in) and good-humored nature with all of us. He navigated our days and tour timelines to avoid large crowds whenever possible. We saw and experienced so much more than can be written here. I wish we had more time there to build in relaxation days. Few pointers: Request Ramy, Stay at the Old Cataract in Aswan, Book the Sphinx Paws experience, Book the night at the museum tour and ask for the gratuities included option with High End so you do not have to worry so much about tipping all the smaller service providers along the way. High End may appear new here on this forum but there is no way they are really new. Ramy, Ramez and Mahmoud clearly have a mastery of this from years of experience and desire to share their Misir.

Professional, fun, & an unforgettable experience!

We did around a 14 day tour with High End Journeys. Our guide was Aziz and he was so professional, intelligent, and fun to be with. It was my first time traveling with a guide and we built our own little family unit. It was clear to us that the company and their employees love their job and care about their clients. I think that’s what made the experience even better because we were with people who cared. It was also everyone’s first time in Egypt and we all felt we were able to get a full experience of the history, culture, and food. I highly recommend giving yourself some off days to go out and explore on your own too. I loved that Aziz was always on time for our excursions and was giving us the inside scoop on the important parts of museums/locations/monuments we were visiting. He would also know what times we would expect to see less crowds and help us navigate other tourists so we can have our own private experience. I also appreciated the fact that he would kindly offer to take our pictures and was an excellent photographer. Aziz and his team can do it all! The experience was amazing and traveling felt like such a breeze! Highly recommend traveling with High End Journeys. You will LOVE them!

Exceptionally good service

I found High End Journeys online during my research for the most reliable tour agents in Egypt. The experience from start to finish was absolutely amazing. I had few video calls with Ramez in order to discuss the exact details of my trip and his advice was extremely helpful. I had to make some changes to my initial plan and as per Ramez’s recommendation and I have to admit it saved me so many hours during my trip. I travelled to Egypt as I am a travel photographer and I organised a private tour with High End journeys for 10 days, visiting Cairo, Abu Simbel, Aswan and Luxor. High End journeys organised everything for myself and my girlfriend and at all times I felt very well looked after.

I was so impressed that everything went to plan and the tour guides High End Tour used, were possibly the best in Egypt. We had Amr as our tour guide in Cairo, who is possibly one of the best egyptologists and we also had Hassan in Luxor. Hassan was also the most lovely guide I ever had, with great knowledge and the most positive and smiley attitude. I cannot recommend him enough. If you are in Aswan or Luxor, try to ask for him.

Transportation was for sure the best we could have, brand new vans with plenty of space and cold water provided at all times. Drivers were absolutely amazing as well, extremely careful and super polite.

Communication: I never had such fast responses to all my enquiries at all times, prior to our arrival and during our stay from any other tour agent I have used during my travels. High End journeys would just reply within minutes. 5 star for this!

Access to archeological sites and tombs that very few people have ever visited, is something I would definitely recommend you to ask for. High end journeys surprised us on this as we would visit some sites when no-one else was there. A truly private tour.

I cannot recommend High End journeys enough. I would like to thank you for an amazing experience!

Don't do Egypt with anyone else!!

We just returned from the most incredible trip to Egypt. Whilst Egypt, it's people and it's monuments stole our hearts, the success of this trip and our love for this country was in no small measure the result of meticulous planning by our tour company, High End Journeys. They planned everything down to the last detail, leaving us to enjoy our vacation. The flexibility of a private tour, the willingness to accommodate every request, however last-minute, the calibre of guides, was incredible. From the first contact, Ramez one of the founders, was incredibly responsiveness and helpful in sounding out our expectations. We were then handed over to Mahmood who took over planning our detailed itinerary, changing it multiple times, first to suit our preferences and then reworking it completely so we got to fit in Abu Simbel. Mahmood was in touch with us throughout and the logistics could not have been more smooth. Every hotel they chose for us was fantastic, especially the Old Cataract hotel, Aswan. and the Four Seasons, Cairo. We had the pleasure of having Ramez himself as a guide for 1 day in Cairo, and his enthusiasm, love for what he does, not to mention his knowledge, entranced us and our children. Mohammed , our guide after leaving Cairo was second to none. He was an absolute treasure of knowledge and was able to engage my children and keep them interested throughout. Mohammed soon became more like a friend and we so enjoyed conversations not just on the archaeological treasures we were seeing but Egyptian culture and current affairs. The vans were clean, new and the drivers polite and careful. We also chose one of their add-on tours for a live archeological dig in Sakkara and my advice is that if you can fit this in your budget, it is an absolute must-do. it will be an experience that will stay with all of us for ever.
I would also like to say that we are.seasoned world travelers, and never used a company before, but felt it would be easier to navigate Egypt with one. We are so glad we did and that we found and went with High End Journeys. Please, look no further!

A trip of a lifetime with High End Journeys!

Ramez and team, thank you making this one of the most wonderful trips that we have had as a family! We left Egypt with only the fondest of memories made only possible by the team at High End Journeys! You personalized it all and you surpassed our expectations! Our trip to Egypt was flawless to say the least! Ramez's ability to always communicate no matter the ask or request and on top of that to make it all happen in is what makes High End Journeys special. When our tour guides felt like family members, we knew that we had found a very special group of people! The live archaeological dig organized by High End Journeys was the most surreal experience of our life! To be amongst 5000-year-old antiquities and then have our daughter actually dig one of them was something we never anticipated doing in our lifetime! To spend time with local archaeologists and not only see human mummies but also snake, cat and lion cub mummies was so special. We would not have had the opportunity to understand the depth of the ancient Egyptian religion and culture without Ramez and the archaeologists we met! We also spent 5 days with Geroge from Luxor to Abu Simbel and his ability to keep both the adults and kids engaged was amazing! We wanted to meet the people and eat local food and he went over and beyond to make sure that he tweaked our itinerary to ensure that our experience was personalized. He was also insanely knowledgeable about the monuments, the history and the culture while adding his own brand of humor!
Ramez, you are the face of your company, and your friendly personality and responsiveness is customer service at it's very best! You could teach major corporations on how to do this! Your attention to detail really impressed us! I asked for a fan in the hotel and on the cruise boat and you made it happen! We left Egypt with the best memories of the country but more importantly we will never forget the warmth of its people and especially Ramez, George and High End Journeys!

Honestly, five stars doesn't seem enough for the experience that High End Journeys provided my family and our group. Committing to a two week trip to Egypt from the US can feel overwhelming, expensive and risky. High End Journey's delivers on its promise to provide structure, value, access and luxury for a reasonable and affordable price. There was never a night where our accommodations were not, by anyones measure, five stars. Our daily activities were guided by private, attentive and knowledgeable Egyptologists. We often found our group alone in experiencing sites that nesrly all other tours never show you. These off-the-beaten path attractions gave a more intimate and profound way to share in Egypt's history and culture. Our itinerary and guides also managed to make us feel that we were seeing the major sites at their least crowded times. I can't recommend their services any higher. I wouldn't want friends or family to visit any other way. Truly, thank you High End Journeys.

I spent 15 days (including traveling to and from) using High End Journeys the entire time. They were terrific, meeting me in the airport, checking me into my hotels, and providing me with the information that I needed. I really enjoyed the private vehicle throughout as well as the private tour guides. I am recommending them to all of my family and friends throughout who are interested in traveling to Egypt.

After arriving in Cairo, I spend 2 full days exploring Cairo. I visited the Egyptian Museum and the Old Islamic quarter. The next day I visited the Step Pyramid and the Great Pyramids at Giza. The next day I traveled by plane to Luxor, met my tour guide, and visited Karnak Temple Complex, and Luxor Temple, and enjoyed my cruise boat. The next day was spent at the Valley of the Kings and Queen Hatshepsut Temple. After day of river cruising, I visited the Edfu Temple, then after after more cruising, visited Aswan where I visited the Unfinished Obelisk and the Isis Temple. The next day, I drove with my tour guide to Abu Simbel Temple. The next day was spent visiting Nubia. The day after, I flew to Cairo, and then drove (with my original driver from Cairo) to Alexandria. After spending a day in Alexandria, I drove with my driver to the Siwa Oasis. After spending 2. nights in the Siwa Oasis, I drove back to Cairo. The next day, I visited the Coptic Churches and the Museum of Civilization, which I would highly recommend as the last activity before going home as you will be able to pay respects to the great men and women of ancient Egypt. We just returned to the United States after our first international vacation during Covid. The High End Journeys team turned two days in Egypt into a lifetime highlight.

My husband and I found High End Journeys through an LGBTQ travel organization. Given the conservative nature of Egypt, it was comforting to know that HEJ welcomed and supported gay travelers.

Just a few hours into our one day tour of the Giza pyramids, our guide’s passion and knowledge of Egypt were so apparent that we immediately booked a second full day tour on-the-spot.

Transportation was provided in a new vehicle with a professional driver.

While many of the must-see sites are obvious, our Egyptologist took the time to learn about our priorities and interests, then shared his recommendations for a custom agenda to make the most of our day.

We accomplished everything on our list, but never felt rushed or tied to a schedule.

Beyond our organized time together, our High End Journeys guide kindly gave us great itinerary suggestions for our day exploring Cairo on our own, including interesting museums, historical neighborhoods, and good restaurants. We followed his suggestions to the letter, and loved them all.

Although traveling during Covid comes with its own challenges and trepidations, it allowed us to experience Cairo’s historic sites without the usual crowds. It felt as though we had PRIVATE access to the pyramids! And the HEJ team helped alleviate fears by utilizing masks and sanitizer appropriately throughput our time together.

We recommend High End Journeys with great enthusiasm.

We highly recommend High End Journeys. Ramez, Aziz and their entire team provide excellent customer service from planning to execution paying attention to every detail from arrival to departure. They make the booking process simple through easy and accessible communication from start to finish and are extremely flexible and accommodating to your travel needs and style. We booked a 10-day journey to major, as well as, off the beaten track sites in Egypt and Jordan including stays and day trips in Cairo, Alexandria, Saqqara, Luxor, Petra and Madaba. Again, we highly recommend HEJ and would not hesitate to travel with them again in the future.
