With the ever changing Pandemic restrictions surrounding travel, I booked a last minute trip with a friend to Egypt this October. We decided to book the trip in early October and contacted several tour companies. We quickly decided on Delta Tours based on Aziz's quick and thorough responses, his Covid related policies, as well as his flexibility to cater the trip to our exact needs.
The second we arrived in Egypt we realized we made the correct choice of companies. After a long day of travel, we got off the plane to see our names on a sign and a lovely man was there to whisk us through the customs process. From there we were taken care of every step of the way on our adventure.
The sites of Egypt are indescribable and I highly recommend this trip to any and every one. Personally, I can atrophy on history and museums on trips but in Egypt I definitely could not get enough of learning about the history of Egypt and seeing the various temples and sites. Saadoon, our Egyptologist, was so knowledgeable and shared such interesting facts with us. After traveling with us he was able to easily cater what he shared to areas we had expressed interest in so the tour felt personal.
We expressed interest in the local food before we arrived and inquired about adding a food tour to our itinerary. Instead of doing this they incorporated local Egyptian cuisine throughout our entire experience. I had no idea what to expect from Egyptian food and it exceeded all my expectations. They put tremendous effort into the itinerary to make sure we tried every Egyptian dish we wanted and it was so appreciated and made our entire experience so much better than we even imagined it could be.
Obviously with the current pandemic, we had reservations about traveling in general. However, once we were in Egypt we felt all the places we stayed and visited took the necessary Covid precautions to be as safe as possible. Also, some travelers have hesitation around travel to Egypt due to safety concerns. At no point did I feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
I do not have enough kind words to express the level of service we received from Aziz. He truly makes you feel like family and we had the pleasure of spending lots of time with him. So many laughs were shared between all of us and he really made the trip a one of a kind experience. I know it is a weird time to travel but if you feel comfortable I would encourage you to take this trip now while these sites are less crowded.

We went with a group of 5 people on a week long trip to Egypt. The tour guide was a certified egyptologist who had the answer to every single question or group could think of. After countless experiences with tour agencies across the world, this stands out as one of the absolute best. Delta Tours isn’t very big (yet), but I believe that their size is an advantage that allows them to cater to each group’s needs.
Don’t look further than Delta Tours for a trip to Egypt. They are practiced professionals that somehow also deliver a family-style experience for a fair price.

I recently traveled to Egypt with a friend and we booked our trip through Delta Egypt for 8 days. I could not have more positive things to say about Aziz and his team. They were extremely helpful throughout the entire booking process and helped to create the itinerary that we wanted. They were responsive and we never had to wait very long for any information despite the time difference. Aziz was also great at responding quickly via What’s App.
This was our first time traveling since the pandemic started and Delta Egypt made sure that we were comfortable throughout the entire trip. We traveled with Aziz (the owner) and Saadoon (an Egyptologist). They both wore masks (as did our driver) and provided us with sanitizer spray and back up masks throughout each day. They booked us hotels that also followed all COVID protocols. They were also great at anticipating anything that we might need such as waters, breaks, etc.
Saadoon was extremely knowledgeable in everything related to Egyptian history and culture. There was no question that we asked that he could not answer. He is clearly very passionate about what he does and it’s apparent throughout the tour.
They were also very accommodating in regards to changing the schedule as the tour went on. When they realized that we were very interested in trying different types of Egyptian foods, they adjusted to make sure to incorporate different food for each meal and we ended up with a days-long food tour on top of everything else. It was an incredible opportunity to try a variety of different things that we would never have tried on our own.
I highly recommend working with the Delta Egypt team. I have worked with different tours before and have never experienced such a family-like feeling. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

We are a family of 3 including a 7 years old, didn’t have much knowledge about Egypt so knew we would want to be on a tour for our visit to Egypt. It was to my great delight to find out about Delta Tour, through word of mouth about their reliable private tour offerings, and then see on their website that they offer the “Legends of Egypt” itinerary which covers the three parts that I desire to visit: Cairo (pyramid), Nile cruise (Aswan to Luxor), and Hurghada (Red Sea).
Upon my email request, Aziz got back to me promptly with pricing and availability, and kindly adjusted the itinerary to our needs, including adding a day visit to Alexandria, and changing the final departure to be from Hurghada instead of going back to Cairo. The communication from Aziz has been punctual and professional, and the quote was reasonable with a clear list of what’s covered vs what’s not. We did have to make a deposit via bank transfer which is less ideal than using credit card, but we understand there is a reason behind this and did the transfer with trust (and crossed fingers that no unforeseeable situation occurs that we had to cancel our trip).
Upon arrival we got help with getting the visa without waiting in line, transferred to our hotel in downtown Cairo seamlessly, and met with Aziz and our tour guide for Cairo area, Saddoon, at the hotel to confirm the arrangements for the 3 days we have in Cairo, all in great efficiency which is much appreciated after our long haul flight from US. Saddoon speaks perfectly English and catered to our needs beautifully during our time together.
Then for Nile cruise part, they got us upgraded to a super spacious suite which is wonderful. Ahmed was our tour guide for this section and was also super helpful.
Then we transferred to Hurghada smoothly and enjoyed relaxing time at the all inclusive resort, and Haisom was our local guide who arranged our check-in, transportations, and optional tours which were all delightful.
Throughout this trip all the private transfers were nicely coordinated and enjoyable, and accommodations were all at top notch hotels with convenient locations. We were able to take in as much as we can without having to worry about logistics and local nuances, knowing all were in great hands of the guides and Delta Travel. I can recommend their service to anyone who may be interested in a tour to Egypt.

First of all, having an Egyptologist (Saadoon) as our guide was one of the coolest and most unexpected part of our trip. To hear the true history and how things have changed over the years from what we know and are left to see was real eye opener just how ancient Egypt's culture goes back in ancient history and how it has changed over the thousands of years. Seeing the pyramids and just how big they really are is mind-blowing! Plus all of the craftsmanship and detail of the large temples, statues, and obelisks makes you want to go back in time just to see how they did it. The biggest bonus was the food was excellent everywhere we went. We really tried to embrace the local culture and eat everything that they do on a regular basis and we never once had a bad meal, everything is fresh and delicious! I would highly recommend booking your trip with Delta Tours Egypt, they were very accommodating, extremely friendly, and outgoing. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied at all times. We never once felt unsafe or in danger, which seemed to be everyone's concern when I told my friends and family I was going to Egypt. I didn't want to go home, I could easily live there!

This was the most memorable trip of a lifetime, and it would not have been possible without Delta Egypt Tours. I decided to do this trip solo, and for a young woman traveling solo, it can be nerve wrecking to spend 11 days on your own in a new country. But Delta Tours was with me at all times and made coordinating all the logistics for this trip so easy and affordable. Aziz, Rashid, and Saadoon created the best solo itinerary ever. I started in Cairo and then went to Aswan, Luxor, Hurghada, and then back to Cairo. I had a couple problems come up with my bank but Aziz and Saadoon made sure I still had what I needed to enjoy the trip. They were so patient with all the issues I was facing with my bank in transferring the payments for the trip. They didn't allow those issues to get in the way of me enjoying my trip even though that meant Delta Egypt Tours had to wait to get paid for activities they had already fronted costs for. This was so kind and refreshing, especially since I was by myself and already in Egypt. I ate incredible food while in Egypt, and saw the most magical locations all through out the trip. Each day topped the next, and I didn't know things could get more magical than the pyramids of Giza. The Delta Tours guides are so knowledgeable and I learned so much about Egypt that you really can't learn through google or a history book. Visiting Egypt and seeing these historical sites in person with Delta Tours is a must. Every part of my itinerary was organized very well and the transitions were smooth and enjoyable. Hotels, transportation, flights, and destinations were chosen with care and attention to my needs and asks, which I really appreciated. I would recommend spending more time in Sakkara, Aswan, and Luxor! Saadoon was my guide in Aswan and Luxor and I definitely recommend him. All of Egypt is incredible, but those were my most favorite locations and I wish I had more time there. I will definitely be returning to Egypt with this tour agency. I am very grateful to Delta Egypt Tours for making this childhood dream trip to Egypt a reality.

Our family of four adults just returned from a wonderful 9 day tour of Egypt. I prefer to work with in-country tour operators since they have the best insight into their country and found Delta Tours Egypt to be no exception. Mr. Aziz Ahmed was very prompt in responding to my requests for a tour itinerary, as well as in responding to all of my questions. He was very flexible and patient in putting together a fully customized itinerary based on our preferences, time & travel constraints.
We were in great hands from our arrival in Cairo to our departure 9 days later. Delta Tours personnel were professional as well as punctual. Our private transfers and daily tours were well coordinated and in comfortable 8 seater vans, with door to door pickup each day. Our accommodations were all comfortable, with helpful staff and a variety of breakfast options included.
Hussam, our Egyptologist, traveled with us and readily adjusted daily schedules, even adjusting the start time of our drive from Aswan to Abu Simbel by 2 hours. Hussam was very knowledgeable, personable, and engaging, able to present the history of each site, as well as provide direction on local customs. He really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable the whole time - we can't recommend him enough!
Some of the highlights of Egypt that should not be missed include Abu Simbel, the Luxor Temple at night, and the Tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Everyone was friendly and helpful........even the shopkeepers who didn't know what we needed but were sure they had it!!! We wish we had more time to include Alexandria and the White Desert.

We spent 11 nights in Egypt over Christmas and New Year, booking flights and hotels on our own. After selecting Luxor, Marsa Alam and Cairo as our destinations, I reached out to a few travel agents to set up an itinerary and arrange transfers, driver and guiding in Luxor and Cairo.
We decided to opt for Delta Tours Egypt, as Aziz Hamed communicated well, was very responsive in our back and forth email exchange, and offered a reasonably priced alternative.
In Luxor we had 2 days of sightseeing with our great guide Ghada Elsady, one on the west bank (Valley of the Kings, Colossi of Memnon), one on the east bank (temple of Luxor & temple of Karnak), and an early morning ballon trip on the last day.
In Cairo we were taken care of for 3 days by knowledgeable and entertaining egyptologist Hussam:
Giza Pyramids & Egyptian Museum on first day, followed by Old Cairo (Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Temple and the oldest mosque in Africa), Citadel of Saladin, Mosque of Mohamed Ali, Khan el Khalili market and National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, and finally Memphis and Sakkara (Step pyramid) on the last day.
Assistance at Cairo airport (Thanks Mohamed), as well as transfers between airports and hotels was also arranged. All pick-ups were on time as agreed in advance.

Had a fantastic trip with family party of 8 adults Sadoon who was our guide was passionate about his subject, knowlegeable witty and resourceful. Aziz ( current owner) travelled with us and together they ensured that our trip of a lifetime to Egypt was amazing, safe , exciting and a great insight into the rich history and culture, traditions, fantastic food , warmth, humour and hospitality of this fascinating country. Enjoyed all the highlights from starting and ending our trip with the view of the Pyramids of Giza plus visit and expolring inside, to the overnight journey to Aswan by train, a relaxing 3 night Nile cruise to Luxor seeing Edfu, the high demand and lake, Abu somber, the valley of the kings , Felucca cruise, relaxing in Hurghada with a submarine ride to red sea, a hairaising quad bike adventure across the desert , the fascinating and exquisite treasures of the Egyptian museum followed by an overnight trip to the beautiful Alexandria , it's fascinating library and mouthwatering seafood. Visit to El Alamein was another highlight. We were so fortunate to witness a wedding at our hotel on the last night. Aziz and Sadoon from Delta Egypt Tours went the extra mile to ensure that our trip was a memorable one and no request was too hard for them - I have had no hesitation in recommending them to family and friends.

Went on a whim to Egypt for college spring break. Needless to say, this was a trip I will never forget. Our assigned tour guide (Saadoon) was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and welcoming. When Delta Tours says that you become a part of their family during your trip, they mean it. A member of our group briefly fell ill due to traveling, and Delta Tours dropped everything to find proper medical care / medicine. Everywhere we went, we felt very safe and secure thanks to flawless logistics planning and execution. Additionally, the overall customer service and communication throughout the planning process was very smooth. Some tour companies are too large and take a while to respond. With Delta Tours, there was always someone ready to make changes and cater to our needs.
