Neighborhood: Insadong
Nestled between Jongno and Samcheongdong, this small neighborhood offers a crash course in various aspects of Korean culture. Rows of shops display traditional Korean goods such as pottery and earthenware, crafts, fans, and more, making it a popular spot for souvenir shopping. The Ssamziegil shopping complex in particular has become a local institution for its unique spiral layout and the many boutique shops inside that sell handmade crafts and goods. This is the perfect neighborhood to sample a range of Korean dishes, with vegetarian Korean temple cuisine restaurants being a popular draw, but street food carts are just as famous. As a top tourist destination, crowds can swell, particularly on weekends, but you can find some rest and respite in one of the private art galleries or grab a cup of Korean tea in a tea house – many of which are located in beautifully renovated traditional Korean homes.

Looking at all that Seoul had to offer for kids, we added this to our list of things to do. It was a great experience from start to finish. The guy who does the safety briefing and stretching made it fun in several languages, and this helps to space out when you enter the maze, so that you don't run into other people.

Inside the maze are all kinds of physical and mental challenges, which are great for ages 7-12. If you are a parent, be aware that you will need to be average size or smaller to get through some of the elements. I am 165cm and 60kg and felt 'big' in there. As someone said in another review, if you are OK going through a McDonald's indoor playgym or equivalent, expect some of that here.

Some people have grumbled that the maze doesn't take very long to finish, which is true, but that said, if it were twice as long, it might have started to feel onorous. Maybe the ideal solution would be to have two mazes, so that you can do one, take a break, and then do the other one. This attaction is partnered with a trick-eye museum nearby, so I can see how the two of those activities would fit together nicely. We didn't have time to do that on this trip.

Dynamic maze is a well designed activity run with maze, puzzles and physical activity required.
There things such as memory games, ropeway bridges, mirror mazes, throwing balls into holes, shooting gallery etc.
The run itself is short, you can finish it in 20 minutes, but everything is done very well and designed for fun.
Kids raved about this and wanted to go again.
Probably too easy for teenagers, but for kids from 5-12, it is a perfect activity to do in small groups.
There are instructions in English and Chinese as well as the expected Korean so you don't need any local language skills.
The only issue was one of the games was not working and there were no staff in the maze so we just bypassed the game and moved onto the next activity

We went there as a group of 5 teenagers and it was disappointing, it only lasted 15mins for 12000W and I trully encourage people over 12 years to find other activities as such activities will not provide you any fun nor challenge. It is still good for families or children.

My husband, 4 year old son and I tried the dynamic maze, which took us about 15 minutes to solve. Its not just a maze, but you have to solve activities to enable you to pass the stage, and continue on in the maze. There's a lot of climbing, crawling, so it does help if you're a little bit smaller built. Overall we thought it was fun, but if you decide to try it out, wear socks, and don't wear big jackets, as it does get a little hot after all the climbing, crawling etc... I would say this activity is suitable for all ages.

Finally I realise the city has a lot to offer to kids. 30 min of fun. Nothing risky but limited to 120+ kids. I'd recommend. To combine with tricky eye attraction

We were in Seoul for a few days and this was one of the highlights in one of the Hong Kong travel books. We drove there and initially got a bit lost, but my son was sharp and spot the entrance at the beginning of Isadong Street. Age requirement is 5 years + and kids must be over 120cm. Ticket costed KRW18,000 per person which includes visit to the side Alive Museum. The whole maze journey took about 30 minutes and consisted a mix of ups and downs, darkness, optical illusions, screaming, photo taking, puzzles and climbing, just like exploring around a kids adventure zone. My kids loved best the "screaming" section. One part was complete darkness and can be quite scary for those with "phobia". We conquered it by holding our hands and touching and feeling the walls. Adults with weak backs may be a pain as some of the climbing can be quite twisting. No phones allowed inside. Lockers were provided to store your shoes and valuables. The kids loved it so much that they wanted to go inside again.

Bought a combo ticket for the Alive Museum & the dynamic maze. At first I thought this would be boring, but once we are in it, we had so much fun and laughter! It is like a playground for adults and children alike. Some light physical activities but nothing too hard. It was fun overall, even though you wouldn't come back after trying them once.

We are three adults and decided to do this as a change on this day. We found the staff really helpful, even though there English was not great they were able to communicate the information to us adequately. The mazes were alot of fun, and we were tired after complet

Only go there if you have a hidden kid spirit inside you. The atmosphere and the careless staff are a huge turnoff, but it really comes to with whom you are going with. Not recommended for game lovers who are looking for something challenging.

Thank you for your comment. Dynamic Maze is a game that kids and adult can enjoy and play together so the level of difficulty is not very high. Regarding of the staff, we will provide better training to them so visitors can have a nice experience in our museum.
