As a resident of Seoul for the past 8+ years, I've had my fair share of experiencing various venues for both business and leisure. I am trying to make this as objective as possible so that tourists to Seoul maximize their experience and get the best that they deserve.
BricX is owned by a divorcé "DJ Iva Destiny" who has struggled to grasp onto a very competitive lounge market, and such there has been significant declines in both customer service and ambience. The bartenders and servers are curt, mostly on their cell phones, inattentive to customers, and I've gotten a strong feeling on multiple occasions that they sincerely do not want to work there. Service after initial order takes about 10-15 minutes, and there are many extraneous costs that they try to sneak in without consulting the customer. There have been instances where they will snatch the shisha pipe from the table because "they need to go home", despite the marketing posters outside proudly claiming that they service goes till 3AM. They neglect to mention that at 2:30AM, they will physically snatch all the hookah pipes and essentially hurry you out so that they can "clean up" for the next 30 minutes.
The issue is of course false marketing, sneaky tactics in order to bleed money from the customers, and shoddy service overall. The most important element a customer is looking/paying for is the experience, and when you are in the middle of a conversation and they abruptly clear your table so they can leave early is very off-putting and completely unprofessional.
Bottom line: there are a great many other wonderful shisha/waterpipe places in the location nearby, and they are not quite so powermad in their quest to get home early. I would recommend that you avoid this place, unless you have a burning desire to throw away your money. Service, lack of effort, and blatant rudeness impedes this place from fulfilling their utmost potential.

Shady hookah place that’s ok...service is weird but I guess it’s normal...only 5 flavors to choose from so it’s really more of a bar that has hookah...
