Justin was our guide for this tour and he was wonderful! My friends and I have actually lived in Korea for a year and a half and we were not your average group of tour guidees. However, despite this Justin did a fantastic job showing us areas of Seoul that we wouldn't have seen on our own, and was lovely to be around. He made alterations to the schedule to better fit what we were looking for, and was extremely kind and considerate. He did a really good job at making the tour a great experience for us and I really appreciate the kindness he showed us throughout the day. I cannot recommend him enough. We started off by going to Iryeong station and taking lots of pictures there. Other highlights include Yujeong Restaurant and the old Big Hit Entertainment building, where we added a message to the huge amount of fan graffiti on the abandoned building. We then visited k-star road, all the figures for all the different groups were interesting to see. The highlight was being able to see the abandoned swimming pool in the same day, that really was a fantastic way to end the trip: surrounded the cherry blossoms in the Korean spring time while also enjoying taking pictures at the pool was a memory I wont forget. We were also given a folder full of wonderful pictures that were taken throughout the day, and my friends and I had a great time looking through them afterwards. They were high quality and Justin was extremely professional in taking them and also sending them over to us so quickly. I would highly recommend this tour, it is worth the money and I would recommend it for people who are looking to get a bit more of a personal approach to exploring that side of Seoul.

My fiancé had an 11 hour layover in Seoul, and this tour was a fantastic way to make something worthwhile of it. Having a guide to ourselves who both picked us up and dropped off at the airport made the whole excursion stress free, and we were able to keep our luggage in the van. Our pickup was a bit late, and we weren't able to easily contact the tour operator to see what was up, so I'd recommend making sure you're able to make calls while in South Korea, or that you create a WhatsApp account before you go, or whatever. Everything else ran smoothly, and we felt like we had just the right amount of time at each stop. We got back to the airport exactly on time and sufficiently tired out to sleep well on the plane ride home. Our guide, Justin, was wonderful, and was not only informative about everything we saw, but was also a great photographer! He was taking photos with his own camera, which he later shared with us via google drive. Not only did he take photos we would've normally requested, but he also got some good shots that we wouldn't have thought to request on our own (included some nice candids). Justin was also very helpful in making sure my fiancé, who is soy intolerant, was able to enjoy a lunch that wouldn't make him feel sick later (a challenge for a cuisine where soy is such a major ingredient!). Long layovers can be a drag, but this tour actually made me glad for it!

This tour was a perfect introduction to Seoul. Our driver/guide, Justin, arrived at our hotel exactly on time in a luxurious and spacious vehicle. Throughout the day, Justin was informative, polite, flexible and kind. Since Gyeongbokgung, the most popular of the 4 palaces, is closed on Tuesdays, we headed instead for UNESCO World Cultural Heritage listed Changdeokgung Palace, which was interesting and very picturesque, especially enhanced by Justin’s perfectly balanced commentary – informative but not overwhelming. First, though, Justin added an unscheduled tour of the National Folk Museum. To be honest, we wouldn’t have thought to go there ourselves but it turned out to be quite a highlight. We really recommend to add it to your schedule if you have chance – and it has free entry! Other stops included Bukchon Hanok Village, a stroll through Insadong, a short visit to Jogyesa Buddhist temple and time at the Namsan Seoul Tower. Visibility at the tower was very good, so the views were superb. Another highlight: Justin enthusiastically helped us to choose a very tasty authentic Korean lunch, included in the tour price, at an Insadong restaurant. Entirely on his own initiative, Justin also took many great photos of us during the day on his Canon DSLR. He kindly uploaded these onto a sharing site for us that evening. They are a wonderful souvenir of a marvellous day. A great start to our visit to Seoul!

One Day Korea tours is extremely responsive and accommodating. I was traveling with a friend and I am in a wheelchair. Mrs. Yan went to great lengths to support my unique needs. She spent a great deal of time with me on email discussing private tour options and we arranged a very nice tour for the 2 of us for 2 days. Unfortunately in the end, I decided to cancel the tour due to the coronavirus explosion in Korea. Due to my illness, I cannot take the risk. Yan was very understanding and refunded me in full immediately. When I first started planning my sightseeing trip to Seoul, I contacted 3 of the top rated tour agencies on TripAdvisor. One Day Korea responded right away. A second agency responded a few days later. The third agency never responded. Yan responded to all of my correspondence quickly and thoroughly. She was very accommodating in all respects. If I ever have the opportunity to sightsee in Seoul again, I will definitely do it with One Day Korea.

The tour was fantastic and our guide Justin was prompt and very knowledgeable and showed us the highlights of the city which would have been otherwise impossible to cover on our own. We didn't feel rushed, even took us for some shopping time and local snacks. The lunch was at a traditional Korean restaurant and the food was excellent. It was cold and windy but he made sure the van was comfortably toasty after being out in the cold. I would definitely recommend this tour.
