Great hospitality and customized tour

What I liked about private tours is I get to go to places which are usually only accessed by locals and less of touristy places. I have wanted to explore out of Seoul for my trip and wanted to look for private tour in Gyeongju. Heather was very responsive to my enquiry and also planned out itinerary according to my requests and proposed other attractions and cafes which exceeded my expectation (eg: temples and cafes).

Midway my trip, one of my day tour was cancelled by another agency and I approached Heather if she can bring me to the planned location instead. She was quick in responding and the last minute day tour to Uiwang was confirmed within 2 days and within a reasonable budget.

Thanks to Heather, my friend and I had a wonderful and memorable 3 days’ time in Korea out of Seoul. I will definitely recommend Heather to whoever wants an exclusive experience for private tours.

First ever trip to Korea with Heather

Heather is great!!!! Highly recommend her as she helped my family and I navigate Seoul on my first ever trip to Korea. She made the trip enjoyable with her personality. When you pass her an itinerary for what you wish to see whilst in Korea she will fill it in a way that makes the most sense and be as time-saving as possible with the travelling time. She would also let us know if there is a place we shouldn't go and see as currently there is a pandemic and things might not be open as seen on K-dramas. Even when we are not with Heather, she would help us if there are any problems such as booking us a taxi or helping us find places to eat. If any of the things you wish to do in Korea require advance booking and a deposit Heather will help with that.

Awesome trip to Seoul and Busan with Heather

We were looking out for customized tours for my parents and needed a wheelchair accessible itinerary. I came across Exclusive Tour Korea and got in touch with them. Ms. Heather was prompt in responding and understanding our requirements and planning a trip to Seoul. Heather is highly knowledgeable about the various destinations, both touristic as well as off-beat and also suggested serviced apartments for us, as we are vegetarians and wanted an apartment with a kitchen. Heather is such a warm and kind hearted person and handled my parents the same way as a family member would do, including navigating their wheelchairs and helping them around. Her colleague Kevin is also a wonderful driver and was very mindful while parking the car, keeping in mind my parents mobility.

We soon also availed of her services for our trip to Busan and a part of the Gyeongju province. Again, she was extremely helpful and highly efficient right from making the train bookings to all the local reservations for the sea train, cable car etc. We had a smooth and enjoyable trip thanks to her excellent planning and flexibility in organizing our trip. While returning, we had to board the train at SingGyeongju station where the waiting time of the train was very short. She spoke to the station authorities both at the boarding as well as the destination stations, so that my parents were helped into and out of the train comfortably. We also had an excellent driver, Mr. Kang in Busan who again was very kind and thoughtful.

I would highly recommend Heather and her team for exploring Korea. She is not a regular tour guide and she takes efforts in understanding the needs of the client and customizes the itinerary based on the specific preferences. She keeps the itinerary flexible and depending upon the circumstances, she makes changes as needed effortlessly, thanks to her extensive knowledge and her commitment to providing an excellent service to her clients. She is also a fantastic photographer and conversationalist and takes every effort to make sure that our trip is comfortable and enjoyable. She is also great at maintaining relationships and continues to keep in touch and we count her among our really good friends. Looking forward to exploring more of Korea with Heather and her team. I wish them all the best!!

Had an excellent experience right from the start when I made enquiries about a customised trip around South Korea. Maria suggested destinations to suit our preferences. She also made an effort to find us hotels that were spacious and more value for money. Guide Heather was attentive from the time we arrived until the end of the tour. She was flexible and always willing to change plans depending on the weather or our moods. She brought us to very local restaurants to try the food - something we would not have been able to do if we had been on our own. Heather and driver Kevin were a great team. They even bought us fried chicken one night when we were stuck in a hotel because of bad weather. We enjoyed our eight days with her and would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a customised tour of Korea.

Wonderful Korea Trip Experience with Heather

Heather is an amazing tour guide! She is very patient and friendly to my family and I, and is always able to customise our trips according to our preferences. She is also very flexible in making changes to the itinerary so that we get to enjoy more things of our interests. For example, as I love seeing animals, she catered our family's itinerary so that I can see more animals during our trip in Korea.
Heather is very knowledgeable and knows the best places around Korea. She knows the best spots of Korea that you definitely do not want to miss! She's also a fantastic driver which makes me feel very comfortable throughout the trip.
Heather also has especially good food recommendations from every part of Korea. Every restaurant she has recommended us to was amazingly good.
Overall, Heather is the best tour guide I have seen thus far and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a tour in Korea.

Using this private tour company greatly enriched our South Korea trip and allowed us (who didn’t wish to rent a car) to travel to off-the-beaten-path places. And what a fun time we had! We found it through a personal recommendation and I couldn’t be happier.

Heather helped us plan our custom itinerary to both suit our personal interests and the current weather and traffic conditions. Her knowledge of Korea and prime sights to see is extensive. All the time we were safely ushered here and there by our trustworthy driver Kevin. We traveled together all day. Both were delightful people and a pleasure to be around. I feel like I have two new best friends.

Our personal itinerary included a film set, a remote fortress, an amazing lunch at a “locals” restaurant and a beautiful little park where the rivers meet. As a photographer, I appreciate that Heather always had an eye for the best spots for a wonderful photo. And the food… ahh. The food was the best.

Indeed, we had such a lovely time we booked another tour a few days later. That too, was amazing.

Thank you so much Heather and Kevin. I hope we meet again soon! Next trip in the works 😉

Best family trip

Exclusive Korea and especially Heather provided us with the best trip ever. They personalised our trip to cater for our needs and helped us in coming up with the best itinerary. Heather and Mr. Noh, are professional, considerate and polite they are always welcoming and always trying to give us the best experience. We had lots of fun and enjoyed our trip to the max. Although the price might seem a bit pricey but given that all prices are up everywhere and the quality of their service that didn’t bother us. It was worth it.

I highly recommend their service for anyone wanting to explore Korea and have a memorable trip.
Heather will always go above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable family trip. She is well informed about the history and culture.

Exclusive Korea is truely the best tourism service.

Fabulous Korea

If I could rate Heather 10, I would! She was a miracle find. Just completed a 10 day Korean holiday with Heather, and she is an extraordinary driver and guide. Heather is amazingly knowledgeable, a fantastic driver and has the patience of a saint. We are seniors and she planned our itinerary within our ability and budget. She immediately 'got' us and what we are intersted in - very intuitive. She will change a planned itinerary without effort, so is incredibly flexible. She is also a LOT of fun. I cannot recommend Heather highly enough, She absolutely made our holiday. I know she does day tours, but having just spent 10 days with her, she is a gem!
By the way, Korea is a fantastic contry to visit. We quite possibly saw more than most, spent a lot of time out of Seoul as well as 4 days in Seoul.

A tour guide who's your local friend!

I'm certain you can find easily many tour guides who can capably shuttle you from Point A to Point B, lecture robotically about the historical significance of one artifact or the next, and direct you to decent restaurants to fill your stomachs. But it is indeed a rare gem to find Heather and her team, who are brimming with enthusiasm, have versatile but deep knowledge, and possess a willingness to go above and beyond to customize the experience to the individual needs of the client. Most importantly, Heather made our tour feel like she was just your local friend showing you around all the places she's checked out and wants to share with you. To me, that is the highest praise for any tour guide.

It’s our 2nd visit to Korea as a family. Wanted to visit Busan as we missed it the first time. Engaged Exclusive again for our private tour. As usual, the tour was arranged according to the weather that day. Heather gave us suggestions on places to visit as well as places for meals. We wanted seafood so Heather and the driver Mr Noh brought us to the market and then recommended a great place where we had our seafood lunch. Visited other places such as temple, shopping street, mall etc. It was great as we need not hurry through the tour. Driver Mr Noh was super nice! Hubby had a cold and he stopped by a pharmacy to get medication for us. He brought us heat warmers in our last day before we returned to Seoul as it was getting cold. Double thumbs up for his sweetness! Expect flexibility and be flexible for this private tour. You’ll definitely enjoy yourself to the fullest!
