This comic-martial art performance or theater act is really interesting. At first, we are hesitant to go since there are still a lot of places to visit Seoul instead of staying and watching this but after we watched the real deal, I suggest that anyone going to Seoul should watch this. It is really funny... I can't stop laughing throughout the whole show!
If you want to laugh and be happy, then try this. I assure you that this is not a waste of time! we are picky travelers with a very limited time but we opt to watch this, it proved us that our choices were correct. I'm so glad I watched this performance.
The tickets are sold in the theater itself, I suggest that you come early as tickets tend to sold out immediately since there are a lot of reservations and such. Waiting for the ticket-counter to open, since it open exactly at the time it is stated in the brochures, is no problem at all since there is a big coffeebean, a coffeeshop, outside the theater itself, or you can go strolling in cheongyecheon stream 'one of the romantic places in Seoul', check for yourself why I called it romantic. The stream is nearby, so you can easily go there first before the opening time of the ticket-counters
Moreover, if you arrive South korea in their international airport, don't forget to get discount coupons, we got one and we got 10%discount and seat upgrades (much nearer to the screens), check their customer service or counters.
And if you are planning to take a taxi, always make sure that you have the address written in Hanggul or in Korean... since most of the taxi drivers (orange and gray taxis cannot speak english--- except for the black painted taxis or the luxury taxis)
Anyway. That's all my tip for you. Hope it would be helpful!

Good idea for a night out.
Be careful where you sit though as you may end up competing with Korea's finest warriors on stage!
Only my sense of humour saved me from embarassment!
No food and drinks allowed inside the theatre.
Venue is walking distance from KTO's headquarters, one can take Subway Line 5 and disembark at Seodaemun Station as well.

A disclaimer that my review may come across a little biased as I watched NANTA before JUMP so there was basis for comparison. After having being hugely entertained by NANTA, I watched JUMP laden with expectations esp as ticket were a little pricier. If I had watched JUMP first, I'd probably give it a 4-star.
The old man threading through the scenes was a funny character initially, but got repetitive after coming out once too many times. There were pockets of boring moments but when the actions begun, the play became more entertaining. The kungfu and acrobatic moves were well-executed and the chemistry between the cast members was evident.
As there was only one theatre showing JUMP (vs three for NANTA), there's a possibility shows may sell out so I'd advise to buy tickets ahead of time. Also, if you intend to watch both JUMP and NANTA, it'll be better to watch JUMP first so as to better calibrate expectations.

A friend who lives in Seoul recommended us to watch this show. We had watched Nanta a few days back and was thoroughly impressed with that.
Unfortunately, Jump did not live up to expectations. the plot was weak and despite some fairly good acrobatics, the show did not impress.
Please note that the theatre has moved to Seoul Cinema. We discovered it the hard way when we went to the old Theatre to collect our tickets before the show. We called Interpark where we had booked our tickets online but the person didn't speak good English. She gave us the number for Jump Theatre but the person there also didn't really speak English. We finally found our way with minutes to spare. Most of the tourist maps still show the old location.

If you are going to go, book early. We booked from the hotel at about 10 in the morning. The last seats available were in the VIP section. So we took those have a nice day in Seoul and grabbed an early dinner near the theater which is kind of out of the way. Then got to the theater the suggested Half an hour ahead and picked up our tickets from the ticket office with the reservation number the hotel and given us.
When we were let into the theater we were very surprised at seating arrangements. The VIP seats were not down in front in front of the stage but halfway up towards the back instead. Anyway, we settled in and enjoy the show which was nonstop laughs from start to finish.
Later we found out what the meaning of VIP seats is in Korea. It seems those are the seats you sit in if you are willing to get picked on. These are the seats from which they pick one or two participants to be on stage in this case one of those was myself.
Actually when we had sat down in our seats I have been quite happy to see that we were not right up against the stage I mistakenly took this with a sense of security thinking that okay this is good we won't get picked on by the performers, this was a false sense of security.
Regardless I ended up on stage it was good fun had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the show. Later the gift that they had given me on stage entire cast signed. I know have a very nice souvenir and memory of the JUMP show and cast from our trip to Seoul South Korea.

This show is extremely entertaining and interesting. It is a wonderful performance which merges martial arts and humor together. It also has good light and sound effects. This show is suitable for all sorts of people. You can go and watch yourself or with family and friends. It is even suitable for little kids. This is a show which is worth watching, for once and for twice.

This show was very interesting and entertained for every single minute. There isn't much dialogue so don't worry about language. The martial arts display was pretty impressive. Best of all, it was very funny and never bored the crowd for a single minute. A must watch!

The JUMP performance was very entertaining and the martial arts were outstanding. Artists are gifted. If the theatre would develop the story line by 3 more shades they would really have something brilliant and comparable to Cirque Soleil. Develop it and go big....

Hi there, may i check with you how did you go about purchasing the tickets? Did you purchase online or you bought it over the counter in Seoul? Appreciate your advise. :)

Hey there! Wanted to inform you that.
You can buy them online and then take it to the counter where you can receive the ticket.
Or you can head to the counter and buy the ticket yourself at that moment.
I'd suggest online or through a phone call if you want some good seats.
