Great tour that led us through popular areas and told us about the stories you wouldn't hear in tourist brochures. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has a night free and wants to spend it both being entertained and educated by an awesome and knowledgeable tour guide.

I did the extended Seoul walking tour. It was fun and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about Korean history I didn't know before. It was such a unique experience. It was also nice having something like this for foreigners. I really hope the come up with another tour for other locations because I would definitely go again. Also, the comic book was great and I am sad it isn't a series.

The tour guide, Shawn, is amazing and the mountains are spectacular. Shawn takes you off the beaten path and tells you about mountain folklore that you don’t get to hear about anywhere else. He is both knowledgeable and very helpful if you struggle at any point during the hike. On this tour, I learned about Korean Buddhism and Korean Shamanism. I even got to look inside a cave that Shaman still worship in! (For video game lovers: it felt a lot like Skyrim) If you’re interested in history, need to get outside and want a truly unique experience, this is the tour for you. The post-hike meal that was included at the end of the hike was another highlight. We went to a family owned restaurant and ate a traditional chicken soup served with fresh, organic vegetables straight from the family garden. Absolutely perfection! it couldn’t get more authentic than that. The hike itself can be challenging at a few points, but is manageable. I’m a bit out of shape, but I never felt worn out. Shawn was readily available to provide support and a helping hand when needed. Plus, he never walked too fast and always made safety a priority.
