About
The show must go on. 13 years on, 5,000 continuous performances later, Sachoom, this original dance musical is reborn as S.02. “LET’S DANCE, CRAZY!!” Sachoom season2. Ultimately, dynamic and youthful dancers embrace the movements with enthusiasm. Playful anticipation awaits us as the whole audience and performers alike rapture into a festive atmosphere. Narrative dissolves into an ever engaging performative event. Following the actions on the stage, combining various influences and styles as Hip-Hop, breakdance, urban, modern dance, jazz, disco, tango, K-Pop Dance into what we might experience as inner desires. Together Let’s Dance, CRAZY. Three friends; Jun, Sun and Bin will move us. Bold and powerful narrative dances into us. Dance is too important to be just for the youth, with magnanimous gestures everyone would be brought to a state of catharsis and furious joy. This is consistent with the concept of Sachoom. “Dancing must be experienced not merely seen.”

My husband & I wanted to see a show in Seoul & decided on Sa'Choom. We were really happy we did. I take my hat off to the Korean performers, they really throw their heart & soul into their performance. They're so full of energy & enthusiasm & they keep it going non-stop for 1 hour and 20 mins. Incredible! The show tells a story about the different stages of life, through dance & comedy. The first stage being small babies, the next teenagers, etc. There is a video screen that lets you know what's happening, & it's in 4 languages. Korean, English, Chinese & Japanese. The comedy is interspersed throughout the show, & the guys have great comic timing, which translates into any language. The show is really high energy, with some spectacular dance moves, whether, ballet, hip-hop or latino, and at the end of the show, they encourage the audience to get up & dance & move to the groove as well. After the show, all the performers also wait outside to take photo's with you. The ticket cost is W50,000, but we got a 20% discount by picking up a brochure at the information counter near the city tour bus ticket booth. We didn't make a reservation, we just turned up at the box office, & they were so sweet, I think because we were foreigners they gave us great seats, we were the 2nd row from the front in the centre. We loved this show, it was fun!

A glimpse into korean k pop which was enjoyable and funny. I went in to the show with little expectations as i hadnt been impressed with what i had seen of seoul till then. But pleasantly surprised i was, as the show exuded so much energy and had me alert ,enjoying every moment of it. There wasnt much verbals but enough was said through expression and emotions expanded during the show. Good way to spend one and half hour.

Even if you are not a big fan of dancing, you will love Sachoom. It is full of excitement, energy, fun and exuberance. Individual dancing and lots of group dancing and they are very well choreographed. The music and energy of the dancers will keep you tapping your feet and clapping your hands . The K-pop culture is very relevant especially in Korea and this show brings it to life. I cant explain all the moves, but can tell you to go and enjoy the excitement it provides. To get there, it is easy to find. You can go to Jongno 3-ga station exit 1, walk towards Tapkol Park and turn right. The building above the road is it. A better option, if it is cold out and you want to stay underground, take Jongno 3-ga and exit 5. The building will be right in front of you. Also if you know where FraserSuites is, this building is right next door. You will see many banners hanging from the street poles. There is an elevator. It is in the Insadong neighborhood, where all the musical instrument stores are. This building again is above ground and above the street. The theater holds about 350, and shows are every night at 8:00. Some day times but you will have to check the schedule. Cost was 50,000 won.

This show was a lot of fun. The dancers had a lot of energy and performed so many different types of dance. There was a lot of the group synchronized dancing that we have come to expect from the boy/girl groups coming out of Korea. I went on a weekday and it was not very full at all. Afterwards I felt like going out dancing. This would be a fun way to start off a Friday or Saturday night on the town~~~ Check it out~~

Personal opinion: I think it is quite average and no wow factor. Probably I always watch k-pop contest shows. But my friend really enjoyed it. So ya, at the end it will depends on your preference. It starts with introduction of three main dancers and some storyline with dances and songs. There are several dancers who are quite humorous and trying to engage with audiences.
