Very traditional market. If you love fish, you have to visit this place! Also lots of fabric and clothing shops. And some souvenirs shops. Easy accessible by metro!

The market can be crowded, but that’s part of the fun. Hundreds of food vendors are gathered in a huge building. I enjoyed everything I had and thought the Korean blood sausage was particularly good. My only disappointment was that I had expected a bit more variety. Lots of vendors seemed to be selling the same handful of items as hundreds of others.

There are so many food stalls at the Gwangjang market. It can get extremely overwhelming or even underwhelming if you don't know what to look for. Jay's tour was informative and such a great experience. He brought us to some of Gwangjang's seasoned food stalls that have been at the market for years ..tasting the most common authentic dishes that all the locals line up for. We got to learn some history about the market, the different areas, and some of people who work there. Great tour for those adventurous foodies! Thanks for a memorable day. Definitely want to come back and revisit!
