I went to check out this place on the weekend. At first I thought I had made a mistake coming in Children’s Day as when I entered there were crowds of people and children; however, they were there for the circus which was happening later on. Thus, the Oil Tank Culture Park wasn’t too busy. I found the whole place very interesting and learned that this is an Eco Park that practices a No Plastic policy - though I saw people with plastic bottles. Hmm.. Aside from that, this place used to be an oil depot but the government had transformed it into a public space to raise awareness and environmental sustainability. There are 6 reservoir tanks that had been transformed into interesting spaces such as stages, pavilion, yards, cultural complex, story hall and a community center. This place is not only educational but also provides many photo opportunities for photographers, and even models, as the backdrops of the tanks and the terrain provide an interesting environment to shoot in. Though, I am adding some photos here, I add more on Instagram this if you are curious to see more you can check them out @katfuz and scroll down to the 6th of May post.

This place is near world cup stadium exit 2. The weather is nice and cold when I visited. You can walk up high and look at the view. Another place to go instead of all shopping areas in seoul. Strongly recommended.

This is the park & art center that is the former oil storage zone.
It's good to spend 1~2 hours in an extensive open field.
- There are some other buildings in use for café, exhibition and some art events. But, for some reason, they weren't attractive and looked coarse. It looked like many things are under preparations. Just watching buildings outside is enough.
- We watched some banners about the night food market. And quite disappointed seeing just a few indistinctive food trucks.
- The center circle with fluffy couches was the best area to stay. We saw some other decent installations for kids.
