Very well organised and hassle free trip to visit the beautiful Nami Island and the light festival at Garden of Morning Calm! We had a good amount of time at the ski resort as well as the two attractions to enjoy the snow and absorb the beautiful sights. The tour guide cum ski instructor - Rei is a very friendly and cheerful man which makes the day out with him very pleasant. Recommended!

We booked a private tour with English guide for our group of 12 arriving in Sokcho by cruise ship. We were met at cruise terminal by our tour guide, Patrick. Everyone enjoyed Seoraksan, Gwongeumseong Fortress by Cable Car, Shinheungsa Temple and Sokcho seafood market. We also enjoyed bulgogi lunch at local restaurant. Patrick was an excellent guide. He was professional, easy going, had a great sense of humor and provided a great overview of all the attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Thank you for a wonderful experience in Sokcho.

Wondae-ri birch forest is such a beautiful place! This tour also includes Nami island and garden of morning calm lighting festival. Koreatimetour advised us to include the lighting festival since it is a winter event. It is a great advise! Our guide Cindy is friendly and helpful. Since we have to wake up early and she is a good driver I slept very well during the 2 hour drive to Wondae-ri. Because my sister is awake, she told me during the drive, she will point out location and explain where are we and what attraction are we close. She even introduce a few food places to us.

Misun Kim was my personal guide for 2 days of touring in Seoul. She came to my hotel, picked me up and then we rode the subway to many interesting sights. We saw Gyeongbokgung Palace, Cheongwhadae, Insadong Street, Jogyesa Temple and Exhibition Center, Bukchon Hanok Village, Namsan Cable Car, Myeongdong Street and Cathedral, Namsan Hanok Village, Gwangjang Market, Jamsil Lotte Mall, Coex Starfield Library, Psy Statue, and Bongeunsa Temple. Misun was so knowledgeable and was so easy to understand. I really enjoyed our time together and learned so much about Seoul and South Korea. I look forward to returning and doing more tours with Misun.

I opted for Private tour with KTT with Taejung Park. He assigned me to private tour guide Mikey (Seunghyeon) who is one of their BEST tour guides.
He managed our time to Petite France and Nami Island very well, good music, great recommendations for Food

So, their isn’t really a tour. It’s a guy with a van that drops you off at Lotte World Tower, and then when you are done there, he drives you to a boat. So, if you could easily accomplish the same with Uber. We had a party of 4, so I’m certain I could have done this agenda at a lower cost.

Also, for some reason the meeting point is at an extremely inconvenient place, especially if you don’t speak Korean. That was EXTREMELY annoying! It is a stupid place to have a pick up. It really is. It should be in front of or near a hotel, in which you can at least communicate with a taxi or Uber driver.

The driver is a really nice guy. He adds zero tour value, but a really nice guy. I liked him a lot. It was cool talking to him on the drives.

The Lotte Tower is Freaking AMAZING! It is mind blowing. Highly recommend it. Although you could obviously just Uber over to it.

The boat ride was kind of low rent, and closer to a crappy booze cruise, minus the booze. It was fun though, but after paying over $100 a person for the whole “tour” it wasn’t worth it. The cruise should cost $12-$15.

So here is the bottom line. If you like to have the structure of an agenda, and don’t mind paying more for that, then take the tour. If you can manage operating Uber, and you don’t need the agenda, then don’t do the tour.

Dear Customer, Thank you so much for your feedback. And we feel sorry for your any inconvenience. But as far as we know, our staff met you at different meeting location from our itinerary because you had difficulty to find the right meeting place and it might cause more inconvenience. We understand everyone has different interest and in some points, people cannot be fully satisfied with our whole tour. We will try better to provide you better service with better tours. Hope you had a great time in Korea and if possible, we hope see you again with better service. Thank you! Korea Time Tour Team

My partner and I had a great day at Mt Seorak and Nami Island, thank you so much to Jerry our great tour guide. We were promptly picked up from Myeongdong station in the morning and safely returned in the evening. What is special about this tour is that it doesn't feel rushed, we had plenty of time in each of the destinations and the mini van was super comfortable travelling between destinations. Thanks again Jerry! From Brittany and Liam.

Fall, 2018. We were promptly picked up at about 7 am in a mini van which holds eight passengers comfortably at various subway stations in Seould and sped away to Mount Seorak. Jerry, our driver and guide, was an energetic and enthusiastic guide who spoke English well. As we got closer to Mount Seorak National Park in Seokcho, we saw massive amounts of tour buses, and a lot of peopl treking to the entrance from quite a distance. Jerry managed to get a space in the parking lot which was closest to the entrance. Despite stories about long waits to get cable car ride tickets, he ran ahead of us and got tickets at a conveninent time. He advised us to eat lunch right away and told us a little about the regional food. He also suggested various short treks we could take in the 3-4 hours we were going to be at the Park. Although definitely a senior citizen I walked to a nearby waterfall. The path was well marked and had only a slight slope. The air smelled wonderful and the foliage was increditble Despite the massive number of people the trek through the forest was wonderfully quite, perhaps in awe of the natural beauty. The cable car ride was short but the view up 700 + meters was breathtaking.
At about 1:30 we left for a nearly two hour ride to Nami Island. Jerry got our ferry tickets and we went on a short ferry ride to charming Name Island. The foliage was absolutely stunning. I will add pictures later!! We left Nami Island about 6 pm for the nearly two hour drive back to Seoul.

It was such a lovely trip with 2 families and a friendly guide David. Everything was on time, David guided us some spots in Mt.Seorak national park. The weather was pretty hot but it was a lovely experience to see the beautiful view from Mt.Seorak!! Nami Island was very pretty and clean!! I saw some squirrels were running around. It’s better to wear comfortable sports shoes and bring some water. It was a long day but we enjoyed it a lot!!

I wouldn’t say this is a ‘guided tour’. All they do is drive you to the location and the guide will say 1 line about the destination when you get there. I read more about the destinations via Wikipedia.

Also it was raining heavily when we arrived at seoraksan mountain, and this is a hike to get to see the waterfall, and it’s not a flat path. I would say 50% is on rocks and slopes that are steep. Even the easy walk to the temple isn’t easy to do in the rain. I would check the weather at seoraksan before you go, because in Seoul it wasn’t raining at all. After all this rain when we asked for the heater, they turned on the AC instead…if it’s pouring down rain and making the hike to the destination unsafe, the tour should be cancelled or rescheduled, in my opinion

I would say the reviews on this tour are misguided. You can get a bus to seorksan mountain for 16000 won from Seoul round trip. For a so called “guided tour”, this is not what I was expecting and I am dissatisfied and disappointed.
