Where to begin? Doing my two years in Tbilisi for work, this walking tour was the first "tourist" activity recommended to me. I had actually never done a free walking tour before but I'd always enjoyed getting to know a new place by walking through it.
I signed up online my very first Saturday in town and found the guide from Tbilisi hack energetic and knowledgeable. She walked us through several areas downtown and it was great to find gem after gem tucked away in little corners of the sidestreets of the city.
This was a really great way to start my time in Georgia, and I felt very connected and oriented from then on. Every time someone would come and visit I would always sign us up for a tour and each walk we went on was different enough to be enjoyable.
When the pandemic hit, this walking tour was one of the few things I still felt comfortable doing. Our guide was very conscientious and safe and it was great to be outside and spaced out while still seeing the rich culture and history of a beautiful city.
Our youngest child on the tour was almost three and a good walker. We could have brought the stroller but there were a couple of places where I'm glad we didn't as Cobblestone and stairs were involved. Although there had been a few kids on each of the tours I had previously taken, the amount of small children in our specific group made it wiser to schedule a custom tour and it was great for our group.
I highly recommended this tour company as a staple for any visit to Tbilisi and further recommend that it is scheduled early in your visit as it makes everything much easier to get to once you have walked around the city once!

This tour does a pick up from Liberty Square in the city center, It helps to find the meeting point a lot. Our tour leader Maria gave us a wonderful & informative tour through the Old Town that included many things we would not have known or found ourselves. Maria is great in explaining the most important facts and just tells you as much as your brain can take and is not overloading you with random facts. She is very communicative and strong leader.
Our tour was in Russian but there was also a English speaking one you can take. The tour lasted close to 3 hours but was fairly easily paced (& we were the oldest in the group!). At the completion of the tour people gave money according to their budget & what they decided the value of the tour was to them personally. Great choice for everyone!

My friend and I booked this tour online after hearing about it from some friends and also seeing an advert in the hostel we were staying in. We took the 5pm tour on a Saturday evening with Feya. The directions to the meeting point were really clear - the pink building in Freedom Square. There were about 10 of us starting the tour and Feya had also taken the 12pm tour and stood in at the last minute for our tour, so even had her shopping with her!
The tour was well paced so that nothing was rushed, but we covered everything within 3 hours and 20 minutes. The guide gave great explanations of everything and balanced it well - enough information in what she said first time, but was more than happy to answer follow up questions if you had any. We were taken to a craft gallery, bakery and wine sellers and sampled things in the latter two. There wasn’t any pressure to buy anything which was good.
Overall, I enjoyed this tour and so did my friend. It covered the main highlights of the city with a great guide and doing it in the evening meant we saw the Peace Bridge all lit up. Definitely recommended.

My partner and I went on the English grand tour with Anya and had a great afternoon! She made sure to keep the tour as interesting and entertaining as possible, whilst giving plenty of information about the city and its history. She is clearly passionate about sharing her love for the city, has a perfect english and is very friendly & fun. I would definitly recommand to go on a tour with her! Thanks a lot for the great time Anya

We did the city tour and our guide Anya was amazing. She made the city tour very interesting and she was very knowlageable about the history of the city. She also took us to less touristy spots "off the beaten path" which was even more interesting. Thanks Anya because of you we fell in love with old Tblisi

Anya was an excellent and knowledgeable guide (and this is coming from a former free walking tour guide). The tour was super fun and interesting. It's the perfect way to start your visit to Tbilisi, that way you get to know the general gist of the city and then you can decide what to do on your own.

This tour is tip based, it is running by a russian woman and it is a bit long. Weather in Tbilisi is fairly cold at the moment and you will walk a lot. After visiting and passing by some places and buildings it ends about 20 minutes away from where you start walking. At the end of tour you must pay tips to this guide. Good luck.

We went on the grand tour with Anya (English) and had a great afternoon! She was well informed, entertaining, and made our tour very personalized. She is clearly part of the community, and her love for the city shines through. Our only wish is that we could have started to do the alternative tour with her.

I had an amazing time with this walking tour (even if it was lightly raining the whole duration — always bring an umbrella!). We get to see the historic parts of the Old Tbilisi and some facts/stories behind it.
Anya was such a sweetheart! She’s fun, energetic, and has lots of jokes to tell! Even if we are a big group, she managed to talk to each of us. I also liked her surprise at the end of the tour. (If you want to know what it is, better book this tour and hope that you’ll have Anya as your guide). Our group enjoyed the tour so much that half of the group stayed together to have drinks and continue chatting.
Thank you, Tbilisi Hack and Anya! ❤️

Tbilisi free walking tour is a must to do! Honestly, don't waste your time and book your spot as soon as you reach the city (even before 😂). You'll discover the best places in the city, hidden gems and get to know everything you need to know for your stay! Tour guides are beyond your expectations. Thank you Anna for showing us the best of Tbilisi and making our stay in Georgia memorable!
