One of the best places I visited in the world .
The service was incredible , the staff was professional and really really nice . The massage was so relaxing I felt a sleep for a moment . Hope there will be more places like this in each country that more people will experience this journey ! Thank you Sam Raan !! ❤️❤️❤️

We went here for a couples hammam and hung out at the pool, sauna and salt room. I still think about this place. The tile in the locker rooms, the sexiness of the pool area, the quality of the massage. We travel all over the world and this place is just top notch. Highly recommend a visit here.

Went January 2016. Flotation room perfect way to start but be sure to get the room to yourself or you and guest. Men tend to walk in and chat business randomly which is not relaxing. Massages are a-1. Thai massages are professional and masseuses speak pretty good English. Changing rooms have modern fitness club (Western) conveniences and more! Wet/dry saunas are kept clean and regulated/thermal chairs too. **They can explain in English as well about how to use the towel system provided (no clothes, suits in saunas preferred) which is quite lacking in most Tbilisi spas. Pool and hot tub very clean and well maintained. Would like better explanation of solarium services and pricing -- especially day packages. Best spa in Tbilisi by far.

They charged me 45 gel more on the procedure, even though I've triple checked the price.

I had a certificate as a gift and wanted to change the procedure which had the same price but suited me more. When I booked the session, I've asked if it's okay and they confirmed. The same way they confirmed the information at the reception. However, as I was leaving, I was told that I needed to pay additional 45 gel since they bought the certificate earlier this year, when the prices were different. I've tried to reason with them, since I had their confirmation and obviously didn't know what was the prices of the certificate since it was the gift. And they didn't handle the situation nicely as well. Don't recommend

We have tried this spa with a friend during our stay in Tbilisi. Looking at their feedback on Trip Advisor we have decided to go for Sam Raan Spa.

My friend and I coming from Dubai were having quite high standard of Spa. However Sam Raan Spa is honestly one of the best Spa I have done in my life so far and has nothing to envy to luxurious Dubai style Spas.

The personnel is very kind and helpful providing a full visit of facilities to make sure you like the Spa and want to spend your afternoon there. Their English is perfect and makes everything easier (As we have faced lot of communication issue in Georgia during our stay).

The facilities are exceptional with high standard lockers and changing rooms, Sauna, Hammam, Salt relaxation room, Dead sea pool, Tropical shower, Jacuzzi, Swimming pool and Gym.

The massage as well is great. I went for a back and neck destress massage and really enjoyed it. The therapist was a very kind Turkish man (unfortunately forgot his name). He has provided one of the best massage ever, with lot of advices at the end of the massage to help relief the pain and bad posture on your day to day life. I am highly recommending him.

Prices are medium-high.

Only negative point is that the location was very difficult to find as taxis were unable to locate the address indicated on trip advisor. On top of that there is no sign outside to indicated the Spa.

To make it easy if you are visiting in future just mention "Socar Offices Building" to the taxi, the Spa is located on the basement of this Building.

Read here in TripAdvisor about "Spaeravi" package and couldn't wait to try it!
Booking went smooth and they were nice enough to arrange a couple treatment for this package.
Once we arrived, we were offered a nice tea, then a tour around all spa facilities, explaining what is they are for.
After changing into robes, we were showed our room.
We began a treatment from squishing the real fresh grapes with our feet!!! :) How cool is that! It's a very interesting sensation! Yep, that is the way they used to prepare grapes for wine processing :)
Then there is a bath, full of hot wine!!! and we soaked in that for about 20 min with some great smelling skin skin lotion for 'him' and 'her'..
Then shower and full body scrub - some substance with grape seeds.. hmmmm!
Shower and body wrap to follow... then hot oil massage... ZzZzZzZzZ...
At the end of all treatment - warm glass of wine with spices..

If you decide to do it for yourself or as a gift to someone special - well worth every penny and time!

Want to thank my therapist Anna! And the whole team on reception for being very friendly and helpful - driver back was a very nice touch!

P.S. my husband continued with other treatment - Shirodhara and other massages, and he was happy with all his treatments.

Serious safety incident

My wife recently had a very troubling experience here. We were there on the last day of our 10 day trip in the area before heading home. While I was getting a massage, my wife was using the facilities. During that time, a man harassed her repeatedly, following her around, offering a massage, blocking her as she tried to leave the sauna and even touched her. We alerted the staff who confronted the man but he denied any wrong doing. The staff was apologetic but just asked him to stay away from my wife and took no further action. No surprisingly, my wife was not comfortable staying at the spa any longer with him around. Somehow the staff couldn’t understand why she wanted to leave. The management simply doesn’t get it if they think they took sufficient action to address the problem. I know it’s a “she said, he said” situation, but doing nothing essentially is not acceptable. At a minimum, he should have been kicked out of the place. Maybe we should have called the police, but we were flying out in a few hours and had low confidence the situation would be addressed any better.

While the facility was beautiful and the services were great, this event ruined our visit and we would not go back nor would we recommend a woman to be there alone at any time (most all the facilities are coed).

I spent the whole day at Sam Raan Spa & Wellness and really enjoyed the Saperavi package.
It started with a foot ritual where I got to crush fresh grapes with my feet, then I had a grape seed body scrub, followed by a wine bath.
I was then cocooned in a body wrap and offered a full body massage with hot grape seed oil.
A facial treatment was also offered and I finished off by the pool with a glass of glint wine!
This vinotherapy package was pure bliss!!
The staff were very professional and friendly.
The Spa was truly amazing!! I will definitely return.

Amazing. Simply amazing. My mother and I came here around 5 times during our week in Tbilisi, each time with a massage and each time it was great. All staff were professional and friendly. The massage rooms decor is wow, the spa area itself (pool and saunas) is beautiful. I have no complaints whatsoever and nothing I can think of that can be improved.

More details:

There is a small ladies-only sauna where we were told that we can lie naked on our towels - good for visitors from countries where this is standard like Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

For those from countries where it's normal to wear a bath suit to the sauna - all the other saunas require that you wear a bikini of some kind. There is a steam room and two Finnish saunas of different temperatures. There's a gym and a juice bar where you can get freshly squeezed juice (for a price). They also have tea.
There are lots of areas for relaxation and lounging, including hot stone beds. In front of the beds is a small snack table with lemon water and fruits.

The swimming pool has lots of water jets and water currents - just ask the juice bar staff to turn it on for you.
Next to the pool is a series of small hot/cold mini-pools for dipping your feet in - supposedly good for blood circulation.
There's also a small pool with water from the dead sea - with very beautiful decoration and ceiling lights.

The spa was open until midnight when we were there, but please keep in mind that the staff are tired after a long day and still need to clean up after you. After a few visits we realized this and tried to leave a bit earlier than midnight (though no one will say a word to you about this).

I have tried the wine bath. first you will be soak in warm bath tub with wine.
The therapist will set which type of music you prefer (jazz, classical etc.) for a relaxing mood.
There is a complimentary tea to refresh you. It also includes body scrub with essential oil. So its like the therapist is already massaging you when she's applying the scrubs. Then you'll be ask to wash and then she'll again massage moisturizing lotion.
The sauna is beautiful with mild minty scent inside.
I paid 180 lari only. It's worth every penny. The therapy is for 60 minutes.
I suggest that you bring a swim suit with you so you could use their cozy pool inside and floatation room.
