This lovely underground tunnel shop is filled with so much interesting stuff to see, you can buy many souvenirs here although you have to keep in mind that it's a tourist spot so the prices here can be much pricier than other places, it is definitely worth a visit though.

This place is a wonderful place to JUST look around don't do any shopping from here! Unfortunately, this is the first place we went to for souvenir shopping after reading glowing reviews online and did our 80% of the shopping from here. We have paid at least 30-50% more for each item here what a massive disappointment! We then stumbled upon this lovely shop called sayat nova in the basement of the national museum they have quality products and priced lower than most of the shops we visited do check them out its run by a really sweet lady

If you come here in the belief that this bazar is like other bazars in Turkey or the Middle East or Central Asia, then you will be disappointed. If you come here in the intention of spending a lot of money, it is the right place for you. I advise you to come here, to look at all the goods and to buy them somewhere else. Here nothing is offered that you would not get cheaper somewhere else in Tbilisi or Georgia.
Meydan Bazar is subterranean. It lies under Wakhtang Gorgasali Square right in the heart of the old city, where you can also find a lot of restaurants and countless sights.
The Tbilisi double decker bus starts from here (go to its information office to book tours and buy tickets, the employees were friendly and helpful.)
In the bazar itself the shops are nice to look at, so one can get an insight into the old structures. On the whole, this place has not got the atmosphere of other bazars. It is mainly touristic.

Our Tour guide recommended this Bazar. It is located underground. It has everything - from souviners, chocolates, cheese, jams, honey, wines, bags, jewellery, books. Everything - you name it, they have it. The ambiance is also beautiful - it has a rustic, vintage look. Tourists should definitely come here. We purchased chocolates, jams & souvenirs. The staff were also very kind, warm & friendly. Prices were also mid-range & affordable. Great Place!

This place was introduced to us by a local. And I must say, following him was one of the best decisions we made. Once we entered the tunnel, we were surprised at how beautiful the place was that at first, you wouldn’t even think it’s a bazaar. You can find various items from wines, teas, chocolates, spices to ref magnets, post cards, shirts, bags and the like. It was a haven of different people’s masterpieces!

Small market for buying Georgian wine or tea and to experience the old Tbilisi market atmosphere. Staff there were very kind and helpful. The visit won't take so much time so it's worth to spare few minutes for that.

I always visit the bazaars. I think it was probably one of the greatest accomplishments of the Ottoman Empire. Free trade. When it came to trade it appears they were very open.

located in a subterranean area in the meidan district. you can see sets of georgian suit of armor and some novelty items. wine collection is nice but better to buy from the wine factory because it’s cheaper and the quality is better. sadly they’re not open for bargaining.

Our imaginations ran wild in the bazaar - so easy to think how it must have been in the time of the ancient Silk Road - full of spices and products from near and far, changing hands for currencies from all over the known world - wow! There are still carpets, spices, and decorative pieces of course and still many different merchants - but Visa/Mastercard and AMEX are the currencies most common these days.

The bazaar underpass led us safely to the far side of Meidan square avoiding the traffic chaos.
