    Amazing!
Just amazing! It is absolutely a must go place even if you stay 1 day in tbilisi. It does not take too much time to reach there from the city center. It is close to the lake (they call it sea). People go there by private cars so it is better to go there early if you want to take photos without people.

    Soviet pomp
Although created in pompous, over-dramatic style during Soviet times, I must admit that I found this monument impressive and interesting. It sits on a hill overlooking Tbilisi and the "Tbilisi Sea" (which it isn't - it's an artificial lake). The monument is nearly 40 years old, but still unfinished. Is it politically incorrect to maintain and finish it ?

    Monument with a good view
The monument describes the history of Georgia. The top part contains kings, queens and heroes who are remembered in history, while the lower section portrays scenes from the life of Jesus Christ. The place is at a height and provides excellent view of the city. There is the Tbulisi water reservoir behind the monument, which adds to the charm of the place. There 16 pillars of about 30-35m height and made up of bronze. Worth visiting it.

Amazing views of chronicles & the lake
The chronicles were really interesting to see in Tbilisi. Something we didn’t expect at all in the city. A beautiful church was also high up on the hill, with beautiful paintings on the walls, & a breathtaking view of the lake down beneath.

    Great to see and visit
Actually it absolutely a must to see if you are in Tbilisi. Only 20 minutes ride with a Bolt from the city. Spectacular impression like build from someone out of space. Even beautiful view on the Tbilisi sea. I enjoyed my time there.

    A must-go site
A bit far away from city centre though, the Chronicle of Georgia is a must-go site. Taking metro and bus in turns (following google), the place can still be easily reached within an hour. A rather historically important site, it is well maintained and the feeling of being there is just mysteriously stunning.

The columns are colossal covered with detailed carvings of the important moments in the history of Georgia. One would need to take a taxi there as it’s high up the hill far from the reach of public transportation. A view towards the non touristic parts of Tbilisi is opened on one side and the view of the lake Tbilisi with its beaches on the other side. This trip can easily be combined with spending time on the lake beach and / swimming. I think it would have been more interesting if I hired a guide who would have explained the beautiful carvings and statues. No entrance fee required.

This is a must see and is a memorial history of Georgia. There are 16 Pillars between 30 - 35 metres tall and the top half features Kings, Queens and Heroes, while the bottom part depicts stories from the life of Christ. It is really amazing to stand by these incredible pillars and look at the wonderful stone carvings. There is also a grapevine cross of St. Nino and a chapel. From here, you have amazing views of the Tbilisi Sea and the countryside. We were lucky to encounter a herd of goats roaming freely but I must say, it was a little chilly and make sure you have a warm coat and headwear if you are going in December. My ears were freezing! Approximately 20 minutes drive from Freedom Square.

Nice site to visit while in Tbilisi. Though this site is far away from the city center, it is really worth sparing some time and visit this place. The best and the quickest way to get there is to hire a taxi on bolt app.

So happy we visited this place, represents the history and culture of Georgian. It’s a great viewing point for the city and it’s nice to experience. You can park in the car park, climb the stairs, take photos and leave.

We had a rental car and took approx 30 minutes from Tbilisi city to reach, entrance and parking was free.

The monument is located in a picturesque place overlooking the Tbilisi Sea. The most convenient way to get there is by taxi or with a guide by car, since the place is far from the center. I also recommend to go to the "sea" and enjoy the silence and clear water. You can swim in the summer

Instead of writing history, they created art like historic artifacts, creating some kind of tourist location. The artifacts are new, but when you go, it feels like the artifacts of the early ages. The hill with artifacts and the view are also beautiful. It’s a must-see location. The artist should also be celebrated.

It settled on a high hill. Located 13 km away from Tbilisi, this monument consists of columns. The huge columns are filled with relief paintings telling the history of Georgia. You reach the top after climbing a lot of stairs. There is a small chapel at the back. It is located on the beach side of Tbilisi. Must see.
