    Pearl of Tbilisi
This is the pearl of Tbilisi! we have been here with the child and friends, it is impossible to go around even in a few times and always find something new and interesting, it is beautiful, especially in sunny weather (i.e. all summer). I don't know who wouldn't like him or why, I can hardly believe it. It's beautiful everything - the waterfall, the road to the waterfall, the bridge over the waterfall, the cypress alley and the wonderful observation room overlooking Narikala and the city after it, where weddings usually take place - sometimes 3 a day, and the Japanese garden, and the tree alley with name tags, and the ponds above, and the bamboo grove. Well, it's not easy to list every corner where it's beautiful. The great thing is that not only is the garden beautiful, but also the streets leading to it. Botanical Garden is my love! someone says 4 GEL is expensive. Really? It's a penny for such a beautiful place.

    Beautiful garden.
The Botanical Garden is interesting, but the organization of the garden itself is certainly limp. Many paths are blocked because of the danger of rockfall. You can't approach the waterfall, everything is blocked off too, you can see from above and from afar. There's something interesting to take a walk if you have the time and desire.

    Tbilisi Botanical Gardens
A beautiful garden sitting behind the Mother of Georgia statue. The botanical gardens sit in an area that can best be described as a small valley with a river running through with its own waterfall. The gardens have designated walkways that are paved with a natural flow meandering from top to bottom. Probably best to enter the garden from the top (near the Mother of Georgia) statue and walk down. A little easier than walking up. There is a bamboo garden, Japanese garden and local flora too. For a small fee of 4 GEL for the entrance, a city sanctuary awaits.

The price for the entry is 5 gel . However if you carry a student card you can enter for just 1 gel.
It's a very mesmerizing place and includes all sort of heart touching scenery. Also there is a fountain which is enjoyable during summers and eye catching during winters as it freezes. Must try place to admire the beauty and should be visited in all the seasons to have the glance of color variations.

This is a relatively large and beautiful garden, it is a must-visit, you will see plants from several geographic regions all over the world, visit the waterfall, and if you are feeling adventurous you can ride the zipline.
Starting from the top of the hill where Mother of Georgia & Narikala Fortress reside, all the way down to the old city where you can visit the Mosque and sulfur baths, this large garden is a perfect escape from the city in the city, you can walk around, relax, breath in the fresh air & feel the nature.
I recommend going up to the garden using the cable car, a quick stop at the Mother of Georgia, and Narikala Fortress, then visit the garden, there you will find yourself near the zipline.

Really enjoyed a few walks and runs around the garden while we in Tbilisi. It’s a beautiful setting that feels completely outside the city even though it’s very nearby. The waterfall is stunning with lovely places to sit at the bottom and a bridge across the top giving excellent views.

A botanic garden should have a large number of flowers, trees, or plants, signage, and some explanations. This is just a large, average park that is less interesting than the other (free) parks in the city. There is an interesting waterfall near the entrance, but hardly worth the hike or entrance fee. The signage is extremely poor. We saw the cedar collection which also had poor signage. We saw photos of the Japanese garden which seemed kitschy compared to real Japanese gardens. I consider myself to have a very good sense of direction and could not follow the maps to the destinations I wanted. We managed to wander out of the park into some backwoods and had to navigate back using Google maps. We overheard several other people complaining that they couldn't find their way around. At the entrance, the cashier was notably slow to process people leading to a long line.

If in Tbilisi, I'd recommend skipping the Botanic garden and go to Mtatsminda Park
for a free more beautiful park with better views, or to Vera or Rike park if you want more urbanized walkable parks.

We were here in October, we found it a waste of time and effort... there was nothing particularly "attractive" (from the current photos it seemed more beautiful). The waterfall is disappointing and ugly, there are no areas with colorful flowers. n they were, the Japanese area with a torii is ridiculous and very small..

Nice park to take a walk. There are 2 entrances. The first is the main one from the botanical street, the second is from the upper station of the cable car.
In the second there is a steep descent, dangerous, especially on wet ground. The park is not the best and not the largest. You can walk for 1-2 hours, there is an entrance fee

The garden is beautiful, a beautiful waterfall. But the janitor's complex, which is a security guard, is simply terrible. We came with a child, we wanted to take a walk to look at the waterfall and go to the sulfur baths, so that it would be easier for the child to move around the city, we had a scooter with us. And the scooter is a red rag for security. Not possible with a scooter. Although the scooter was folded and no one planned to use it. As a result, I had to leave the scooter at the entrance with security. The only thing we went for. To the question of how a folded scooter affects the walk, the answer was not received.

Beautiful garden, but be cautious with children's tickets. Staff insisted on charging for my 6-year-old despite the sign stating otherwise. Attitude towards tourists needs improvement. Visit with caution.

We came to the spectacular botanical gardens of Tbilisi only by chance. When we got off the omega cable car that dropped us off from the "Georgia Mother" park, on the way out we accidentally reached spectacular Japanese garden. A staff member who passed by explained to us that we are in the Tbilisi Botanical Gardens that were planted in 1845 and at the time served as the garden of the Royal Palace. The gardens extend on both sides of a small stream which at the end reaches a number of waterfalls. From the Old City it is possible to reach the waterfalls via a paved path that begins in the area of the bathhouses and passes by the Muslim mosque. Very nice tour and highly recommended NOT 2 B MISSED, especially for photography enthusiasts who will have many opportunities for spectacular photography.

Tranquil, peaceful, beautiful, well maintained and teeming with wonderful plants and animals. I could happily spend hours lost in the meadows and woods here, listening to the birds and the frogs. It is an unmissable treat for anyone who wants an oasis in the city.
