Immersing myself in the serene beauty of this natural lake was truly a rejuvenating experience. The tranquil waters are framed by a lush canopy of trees, creating a picturesque oasis that feels like a world apart. With inviting restaurants and cozy cafes dotting the surroundings, every culinary desire is catered to. The thrill of a zip line adventure added an exhilarating touch to my visit, while the option to swim and find my footing in the cool waters provided a perfect escape. Strolling along its shores, I was captivated by the sheer beauty and a sense of safety that enveloped the area. The proximity to the city is a pleasant surprise, making this haven a mere stone's throw away from the urban bustle, with just a short taxi ride from Vake or a quick 11-minute car journey from the center.

Hiking to turtle lake.

We did urban hiking and ended up at Turtle lake after we took the furnicular. The walk was amazing. Make sure to bring water as it can get hot. Turtle lake is a recreation area so it is quite developed but the descent into the lake is beautiful. Fairly well marked trails.

It provides a great view to watch sunset. I was sitting there and watching it. I had really nice time with my friend there. If you want to relax and spend some leisure time, it’s a nice choice

Quite nice place must visit in Tbilisi. There are zipline, pedal and electric small boats, trampoline, table tennis rentals and more. Nice to swim too. Fancy restaurants. Not very far from city center 20 to 25 minutes. Bolt available. Recommend to go before the sunset by 2 hours

Relax and walk around

Green area with some restaurants and ideal for a walk around the lake. Near the Ethnographic museum of Tbilisi so you can do both. Some stuff for kids. Excellent to just relax near the lake and read a book or take a walk.

The first time I came here I was mesmerized by the beauty of the nature! The restaurant near the lake serves amazing shisha. I always come there as much as I can during my 25 days visit. We did the paddle boat too around the lake. Hiking there is also amazing. It's surrounded by green mountains. It is so peaceful to look at. It's a must visit place in Tbilisi.

Place to walk and have zip line

It is very small and quite place with amazing view of Tbilisi. They have short zip line. it was first time for me i was very exited. Zip line was short and not to fast, but i enjoyed the view. There is small a swimming area but water is not clear so I would not recommend to swim. There is a bunch or restaurants, perfect place to relax with mountain view.

What a delightful place to go and relax !

Sitting by the water being served with good food in the sun under an umbrella spending the afternoon talking with friends while the young people play in the water is just lovely. Good food and a lovely atmosphere in the mountains away from the city but not too far! .

Tired lake complex

This complex had seen better days with everything looking slightly tired and dilapidated. The view and trip up were good.

good place to chill out & relax on weekend with friends & family. gr8 place to jog it has good jogging tack. the price at the cafe near the lake is bit expensive ,the cold coffee cost 12lari around . but the place has gr8 view of the lake & the whole city.
