The tourists are haggled and taken advantage of here. The sights and sounds of this old part is good.

The real Tbilisi! The mixture of old Georgia, the Ottoman influence and Iranian heritage all in quiet harmony. The only way to enjoy Tbilisi is by walking through its narrow alleys and enjoy the sites and the heritage. You can also enjoy a snack and maybe have a shisha in one of the many cafes in the area, or maybe dare the challenge of having a rough massage in one of the famous old hammams. You have to visit this place. It's the true Tbilisi: with its narrow streets, brick roofs, and multinational community. Make sure to visit the sulphur baths and go to the Botanical Garden right nearby.
