The real Tbilisi! The mixture of old Georgia, the Ottoman influence and Iranian heritage all in quiet harmony. The only way to enjoy Tbilisi is by walking through its narrow alleys and enjoy the sites and the heritage. You can also enjoy a snack and maybe have a shisha in one of the many cafes in the area, or maybe dare the challenge of having a rough massage in one of the famous old hammams. If you are on your own you can find nice young guides offering their services for just a few dollars.…

Tbilisi downtown is not a stunning place. Still, it is almost impossible not to fall in love with it, in spite of the unpleasant and vulgar touristy area built in the old town. There still are many charming roads as well as beautiful old houses, even if a few are falling apart, and would be soon replaced by some ugly modern buildings. Incredibly enough, there also is a tiny waterfall just at the back of the old town.…
