Our son who lives in Tbilisi recommended and arranged two private, customized tours with Zviad of Travelist Georgia. The first full-day trip was to Dmanisi archaeological site, Bolnisi churches and museum, and Samshvilde fortress and archaeological site. The second 2-day trip was to Kakheti with an overnight outside Sighnaghi. Zviad was the perfect guide and we highly recommend his services. His English is excellent, he is reliable, punctual, and a very safe driver. What's more, Zviad is extremely knowledgeable about everything Georgian- from explaining that matsoni is made from buffalo curd to pointing out the significance of certain altars and icons in Orthodox churches. We were also very pleased with the lodging, wine tasting and delicious meals he selected and ordered for us. What a great culinary experience! When we arrived early at one site before it opened, his polite and calm manner convinced the gatekeeper to let us in. These same qualities came in handy when we encountered a herd of cattle on a narrow bridge over a river gorge. Zviad manages to balance being attentive and present without ever being overly solicitous. We thoroughly enjoyed his company and hope to travel with him again to western Georgia! Thanks for two wonderful tours!

We went on this tour in January. The weather was a bit cold but the wines and chacha were amazing. We were taken to Okro's winery in Sighnaghi which We found very special. The food was really unique and delicious. I would definitely never forget it’s taste :-) We didn’t sit on the balcony because of chill weather. But We still had chance to enjoy fantastic view and winter season was no obstacle at all.
Georians are very open minded. We were fascinated by rich ancient culture. There are so much more to see. We are planning to come back again soon.
Thanks Travellist Georgia for very warm and comfortable tour 🙏🏻👌🏻

My husband and I spent a week with Zviad touring Kazbegi, Kutaisi, Mestia, Ushguli and more. Georgia is a beautiful and interesting country with amazing sights, views, food and culture.
But the best thing about our trip was Zviad the owner of Travelist Georgia who did his utmost to provide us with the best customized tour. Zviad speaks perfect English, Knows every road and pathway, he is patient, punctual, a very safe driver, and always tries to accommodate to the needs and interests of his clients.
Travelling with Zviad means also learning about the history, the culture, the people and the food.
Thank you Zviad for the awesome tour !

I wanted to spend 4 nights in the Svaneti region but had very specific days and had already booked my Vanilla Sky return flights. I could not find any tour that worked on my days or did what I wanted to see; and as a solo traveller I could not afford a private tour. I then very luckily came across Zviad’s company. He sorted out a great itinerary for me that included everything I wanted to do and then engaged a local operator to look after my transport everywhere. My hikes were not guided (this was fine as the trails were well marked), my horse riding trip was. Everything went super smoothly and I was really well looked after. Zviad kept in touch from Tbilisi to make sure all was going well. He also had back up plans in case my flights were cancelled. Fantastic affordable way to solo travel, and if I had a group I would have engaged Zviad as my guide the whole time. Special call out to Davit, George, and Zviad from Mestia (local agency Zviad organized) who looked after me amazingly well.
I highly recommend.
Thank Zviad.

At home, as well as when travelling it's always appreciated to be surrounded by people who live up to their promises. Zviad of Travelist Georgia is definitively "one of those people". We crafted what we anticipated to be our very own perfect day trip to Kakheti and Zviad provided us with the all the necessary ingredients that made it happen - above and beyond our expectations. Very professional!!

I booked a two day trip around Kazbegi last week with Travelist. They arranged everything, I had nice overnight accommodation in the Green Sheep Hotel in Stepantsminda where they gave me a fabulous dinner! Over the two days, I visited various sites including the Ananuri fortress, Gergeti Trinity Church, Dariali Gorge, the town of Gori and Stalins Museum and the cave town of Uplistsikhe. My guide, Vasili, was very helpful and a great driver. Thanks for arranging and definitely recommend this tour company!

I originally booked for private hiking tour to Georgian rainbow mountain, unfortunately for safety reasons it was cancelled due to border issues. However, Zviad of Travelist have provided us an alternative tour option which was really amazing! We had a great time and really enjoyed the walking tour at the picturisque and beautiful valley of Sighnagi - The city of love.
Special thanks to Zviad - he was very nice, to the point that i regret not booking the other day tours we had in Georgia. Although we also had a great time with our other tours - but it’s always better if you have a guide who speaks English very well.

Both our guild Beso and driver Shota were amazing. We toured the David Gareja Monastary but the road to the highest Monastary was closed due to land conflict w Azerbaijan. Beso took us on a hiking trail that would take us to the top. Great trail w view of the Rainbow mountains.
Then they took us to the Vineria Kakheti for a delicious lunch & wine tasting.
Everything was fabulous. Beso was so knowledgeable & had such a great personality.
Would highly recommend this tour!

I with my girlfriend were picked up in the morning by Zviad with a very nice Suv and headed to Semi arid area named David Gareja. After nearly two hours of beautiful drive we arrived to David Gareja. The views on the way to the monastery were awesome. We had several photo stops on the road. After arriving and seeing Lavra monastery we began a hike up to Udabno monastery. Before reaching the monastery we enjoyed the beautiful views on rainbow mountains and Azerbaijani border. After nearly 50 minutes of hike we reached the monastery which had very beautiful cells and frescoes. The way back was very easy and pleasant due to the breeze. After finishing the hike we left for a winery where we had very good lunch and awesome wine. We tried several types of wine and Georgian spirit drink Chacha as well. Both me and my girlfriend were happy with the trip. We recommend Zviad's Travelist Georgia to all customers wishing to travel in Georgia.

My husband and I were on a tailored trip to Georgia and arrived in the country having visited Azerbaijan the previous week. After a long wait at border control we were met by Zviad, our wonderfullly enthusiastic Travelist guide. Instantly we knew that an exciting few days were in store.
Zviad suggested a local restaurant in Tiblisi which was below street level, cheap and trendy. The next couple of days were spent exploring the capital and viewing local holiday celebrations - people picnicking by the river and buying local food from temporary stalls.
We were then taken to the wine area of Kagheti where we were treated to beautiful food and wine in a Sighnaghi boutique restaurant. The signature food accompaniment seems to be bunches of herbs - yum! The village was a traditional wonder.
On driving north we saw the impressive mountains of the Caucasian range. It was surprisingly cold and the hotel was rapidly running out of food due to a Scandinavian party’s appetite.
Zviad was rightly tproud to show us a new power station which was “eco friendly”. Unfortunately, we were looking down on it from a viewing platform in icy weather so it was of little use to us. We also struggled further upwards to a monastery - not sure a modern congregation would manage it. A lone monk with no electricity sat in the fading light.
On moving to Gori we found ourselves in a town with very little to commend itself at night. The hotel needed some radical revamping! The Stalin museum was well patronised, but bleak and stark (as were the staff jobsworths) with important memorabilia - certainly worth a visit.
Going west the Kuwaiti area was refreshingly agricultural and vibrant and the town rather pleasant. We continued our trip to Batumi - great hotel, fabulous seaside town and a friendly atmosphere, our last trip was to a wine tasting and the history of wine in Georgia.
We will definitely return if we can. The whole holiday came to life due to the presence of Zviad. We loved his humour, knowledge and keenness. If we were younger we would recommend his hiking and activity trips as well.
