Здесь Пиросмани встретил свою любовь

Напротив концертного зала расположен парк Вере (Верис Баги).Разили его в начале 20 века не месте старого кладбища. Считается, что именно здесь Пиросмани встретил свою любовь - актрису Маргариту. В 1936 г его реконструировали и присвоили имя Кирова. В 1971 г в парке построили Дворец шахмат - двухэтажный павильон, в честь пятикратной чемпионки по шахматам Н. Гаприндашвили.
