TrekGeorgia customized three sightseeing days for our three generations of family (including a 4- and 6-year-old) built around a few days at two different resorts. Leaving from Tbilisi, we went into the wine region, framed by the beautiful Caucasus Mountains. It was a perfect combination of fun (winery, horseback riding, climbing towers, easy hikes), culture (monasteries, museum), and spectacular scenery – all this amid the pandemic. Dimitri, our guide and driver, couldn't have given us a better experience. He was knowledgeable, patient and solicitous with the kids, and super dependable. We really enjoyed his company! It was our second visit to Georgia and we feel very comfortable and safe there. The people we met were friendly and welcoming. We are sure to return and would definitely consider arranging other tours with TrekGeorgia. Thank you, Dimitri and Nutsa (our guide on the previous visit)!

Thank you so much Gail for your warm words. You and your family were great and it was truly enjoyable for me to spend the days with you. I cannot wait to see the kids. See you in the future, Best wishes Dimitri

One week horse trekking in Tusheti - private tour with a friend. The trip was easy to organise through Dmitri. The guide, Tina, is a Tusheti local and it was a very special experience exploring the region with her - she explained history, culture and customs in as much detail as you'd like and is a fantastic host. The horses are forward going, but very good natured and the terrain and route has something to suit all riders.

We have done several horse treks in different parts of the world - this was a very special experience and I'd highly recommend.

Me and my partner did the 8 day in Svaneti trekking tour. Dimitri was a wonderful guide, the walks were absolutely fantastic, with some of the best views I've ever seen. Everything was organised really well, and all of the little details were taken care of (such as luggage transport, and other transport arrangements that meant you could do the best walks).

I'd highly recommend TrekGeorgia to anyone considering doing any guided treks

Georgia has the most to offer in terms of hospitality, hiking, scenery and delicious food and pairing with Dimitri at TrekGeorgia was the best way to experience all of it. As two young women, we not only felt safe, we were relieved and astounded by how rewarding the experience was. Dimitri made it easy to fall in love with this beautiful country. His knowledge, kindness, patience and flexibility set the stage for the enchanting beauty that is Georgia. Dimitri facilitated our private 4 day adventure with complete ease and tailored it to fit our needs. Each day was a new and challenging hike with amazing views. TrekGeorgia is a secret that needs to be told. If you are looking for an intimate visit with the Caucasus mountains, look no further than TrekGeorgia. I look forward to returning because one visit is not enough.

We did a day tour around Tbilisi & Mtskheta before doing the 3 day hike to Black Rock Lake. All well organised by TrekGeorgia...George, who we had for our day trip was great fun, and Georgi who took us on the hike was also great...particularly in getting us to Black Rock Lake for sunset under what started out as quite difficult conditions...you’ll see by my photo’s how amazing the views were!

I recently did the "6-Day Trekking In Svaneti: Mestia To Ushguli" with TrekGeorgia and it was a fantastic hike! Many thanks to our guide, Dito, who was professional, well organized, friendly, and entertaining. The mountain scenery was beautiful (particularly the enchanting mountain flowers), the villages were fascinating and atmospheric, and the daily hiking was moderate and slightly challenging (which is just what I wanted). I joined a hike that had a set departure date. There were 6 other hikers and it was a fun group of people. We got very lucky with the weather: it was dry while we were hiking and then it rained hard every evening. Although this hike is popular, I highly recommend it for the captivating mountain scenery and rich culture in the unique villages.

I also did some other tours with TrekGeorgia and they were mostly excellent: 3 Day Tour To Western Georgia, 2 Day Hike In Kazbegi, and David Gareja and Signagi Tour (1 Day Tour). My guide for these tours was Nato who was very good. Only complaint (not TrekGeorgia's fault) was I didn't get to see David Gareja complex because of problems between Azerbaijan and Georgia in early July 2019 (I think the problems have ended but check the security situation with Trek Georgia before booking this tour).

Many thanks to Dito and Nato! I highly recommend TrekGeorgia!

My wife and I recently completed a private 6-day trek from Dartlo to Shatili. Everything from our first contact with Dimitri to our emotional farewells with our INCREDIBLE guides Nutsa and Misha was extraordinary. We highly recommend Trek Georgia to anyone looking for adventure and exquisite Georgian hospitality. Nutsa is not only an incredible guide, but she is clearly well respected in every village of Tusheti and Khevsureti. We were welcomed at every guest house as friends and honored guests, making the experience that much more memorable. Nutsa was also an encyclopedia of local history and legends, which enlivened our gorgeous surroundings. We elected to have horse support for the trek, which we did not regret... especially as we ascended Atsunta pass. Not only did our beautiful Tushetian ponies carry our gear, when we needed a rest Aleco, our awesome horseman, had us hop on and ride for as long as we needed. We really can't recommend Trek Georgia enough. We came as guests and left as friends - we are already dreaming about our return to Georgia and our next adventure with this great outfit.

We did a modified version of this trek. We trekked for 5 days. We were in Georgia for 2 weeks. The first week we trekked in Tusheti and the second week we visited Mestia. We had a very hard time deciding which place to trek and decided on Tusheti with the second week being mostly sightseeing in Mestia and stopping in the wine country. The trip was amazing and highly recommended. We had horse support for the trek which we would recommend. I was also able to ride the horse (we had an extra horse) which was helpful when I got tired and helpful for river crossings. The trek was challenging. Our guide was very helpful. We felt trekgeorgia was very responsive and organized. Georgia is an incredible country so vast, highly recommended!!

I had a great time with my guide driving from Tbilisi to Martvili and Okatse canyons. The canyons are spectacular and you get a lot of good photo spots both above and at Martvili inside the canyon as you take a raft into the canyon. Getting to see the Georgian countryside make the drive there and back even more special.
