About Trip4real Georgia
We strongly believe in “area expertise”. We think that only those who are passionate about the landmarks and know them inside out, can provide visitors with the greatest experience. We also believe in travel that brings visitors closer to local culture, customs and traditions. This is why we employee mostly locals and only those who are experts in a given area. The expertise of our team is broad and ranges from nature conservation to gastronomy, from pristine national parks to lively Tbilisi neighborhoods. We offer variety of tours suiting both experienced and novice travelers, different levels of physical fitness, and diverse preferences in travel. Our ADVENTURER tours are more for those who are used to a rough travel, the one that brings them closest to nature, or to local customs and peculiarities of the landscape and culture. These tours often are the ones that require lot of physical activity. The EXPLORER tours allow visitors to enjoy localities at a more relaxed pace, but still with the engagement that allows for a local, rather than a “foreign” experience. The VACATIONER tours are day tours with different destinations of your choice. We still do our best to enrich your experience with interesting and unusual stops, hidden from the eyes of tourists.

I had booked two private tours: one to Akhaltsikhe and Vardzia and one to David Gareja Monastery. George was our driver in both cases. The vehicle was a Toyota Prius. Let's start with our tour to Vardzia. It all started well and George was very friendly throughout the tour, although his English definitely needs improvement. It is a long drive to Vardzia, so we made two short stops, which was appreciated. On the website it says that the tour provides "guide service", but upon arrival to Vardzia I heard from George that the company does NOT pay for his entrance fee (remember he is described as our "guide"). So George gave us the choice of either visiting Vardzia on our own or purchasing his ticket so that he came with us. It did not cost that much, so we paid for his ticket. I had hoped we would get some extensive explanation about the cave city, but we got a pretty basic description at best. We enjoyed Akhaltsikhe and Vardzia overall, but we could have driven there ourselves after all. On a side note: WiFi was supposed to be included in the tour, but it was never offered to us (not that it was that essential, but still). A few days later we took a half-day trip to David Gareja Monastery. George arrived with the same vehicle, which made me wonder, since I knew that the road is very very bad. Toyota Prius is totally unsuitable to drive there. One needs at east an SUV, as the pot holes were terrifying at times. We managed to reach the monastery after 2,5 hours and probably some damage to the car (George did not sound happy). George told us that this was the second time that he ever driven there. On top of that he told us that part of the monastery is closed and wondered why the company did not inform us in advance. We spent around an hour there and visited a small part of the monastery. One of the highlights is to walk up the hill past the border with Azerbaijan to see the frescoes. We were not able to do that because George sounded very reluctant and told us that we should not cross the border, even though it is known that one can still visit the part that is in Azerbaijani territory. Once again we got a very basic description of the place, accompanied by negative comments about Azerbaijanis having seized Georgian territory (where part of the complex is situated). Anyway, we left and took the same terrible road back. George must have been eager to go back home, because he was driving very recklessly on the way back. This is not uncommon in Georgia, but one should consider the passengers they carry, especially if they are foreigners. All in all, I found this a mediocre and overpriced experience (the whole trip cost $260 for 2 people). I hope these things are taken into consideration in the future, because there is potential. However, I cannot recommend these two private tours at this point.

Hi Thanks for your feedback, but let me underline few things: 1. Your have ordered just transfers in both cases. 2. There is nowhere written that tour to Vadzia for examples includes entrance fees. 3. If you are comparing private guide and tour with shared tour with big bus yes there will be big difference in price. 4. Wifi is provided in all our vehicles, you have to ask the driver and he will share it with you. 5. In terms of David Gareja issue - it is a very big complex with more than 16 different building in few locations. Right now some of them are on the territory controlled by Azerbaijan, so the access to them is limited and we can not do anything. Other points we will take into consideration and hope that you will visit us again.

We travled with Guram for about one week of our journey, I had things planned but ran them by him and he had his honest feedback and other suggestions. Thanks to him we experienced the 'real hospitality' of the people in Georgia and I made some of the best memories on this trip. I really reccomend him and his partner George and if we go to Georgia again I would love to have them as guides once more.

We were six friends planning a ten day trip to Georgia this April. We where looking for a reliable tour operator to find the best sights, food and wineries, and we found Trip4real Georgia. Together with their fantastic and extremely knowledgeable guide Guram we managed to see Kutaisi, Borjomi, Uplistsikhe, Mtskheta, Tibilisi, Kazbegi, Telavi and Sighnaghi. Georgia have a long and proud history brimming with ancient churches, castles and monasteries, all put in context and made understandable by our guide Guram. The food was excellent and the traditional wine making very interesting and resulting in proper natural wines. We have already wholeheartedly recommended Trip4real Georgia to friends and family for the coming visits to Georgia. They delivered 100 percent all the way.

We have just come back from Georgia. We travelled to Tbilisi-Gudauri-Borjomi-Kutaisi-Tbilisi. Our trip went very well and largely because of Guram, who guided us very well throughout the trip with his vast knowledge of the area. Guram entertained us with the history of the area, and we learnt a lot about Georgia from him. He recommended us the restaurants and made us taste delicious, Georgian cuisine, that we would'nt have tasted, if not for him. Guram also went out of the way to show us some of the places  in Georgia, that were not part of our itinerary. Last but not the least, his driving skills were excellent and we felt quite safe even in some of  risky terrains.  A big thank you to Guram for making our trip a memorable one.

Gamarjoba from Sujith and Team  I wholeheartedly recommend using Trip4real to plan your budget-friendly vacation in Georgia.I came to know about George from a friend. Got in touch with him on whatsapp and requested him to make an itinerary for our family of 12 including 4 children. I must say that the tour was so well organized that we did not have any problem at anytime during the wonderful tour. From the moment of arrival, Vato(our tourguide) and Zaza(driver) was there to welcome us and accompanied us throughout the trip.Vato was well aware about Georgian history and its culture. Zaza was humorous and made sure that we didn’t miss anything about Georgia. We loved the weather, the snow, the drizzles, traditional food, wines and ofcourse Lilo mall for our crazy shopping experience. Vato, we thankyou for your patience and politeness...excuse us for photo craziness.Zaza, what a wonderful and safe driver and hats off to your punctuality.Without Vato and Zaza, this trip would not have been memorable. We promise to be back soon and will catch up to have Khinkali and Khachapuri. Once again dzalian didi madloba(hope it’s the right way to say) George, Vato and Zaza.
