There is 1 police post in front of the gate. You are not allowed to get in. Just come and see the gate, and the NLD flag hanging there.

Although she now llives in the new capital city, her former residence is blocked from view and guarded. We could not find any crevice in the fence and gate to peek. Not worth the visit

Good to drive by to see it, but not much else to see, was not able to go inside. More impressive single family houses in areas worth seeing.

As she still lives in this house when in Yangon it is closed for visitors with a guard outside. At least he let us stop and walk to the closed gate to have some photos taken :-)

If you are interested in the history of Burma this is a must see. It is a small 2 story house that he and his family lived in. Very emotional if you know the history.

Yes, nice gate is about the sum of it. The Lady's house seems like it should almost be a bit of a pilgrimage site so we went for a look but it's impossible to see anything but the big front gate. On another day when...More

Stopped by Aung San Suu Kyi house one night on the way out to dinner. Busy time of the day at 6.30pm, chaotic traffic - we would have created further havoc. Just enough time for a quick look & a photo. All that can be...More

According to other reviewers 54 University Road but I doubt that. I'd write to 'The National League For Democracy' or the Myanmar Parliament. Bear in mind she would receive hundreds of letters a week , the vast majority... More
