You get to see the gate, concrete wall, and behind is a very busy road. This is a drive-by site at best.

As many have said there is nothing to see other than a gate and high walls but just to be close to the epicentre of the last 20+ years of Burmese/Myanmar history is curiously affecting.

Even though, as others have reported, very little can be seen since this home is surrounded by a high fence, I am glad to see where this house is, especially after seeing the house and museum where her family lived before moving to this house.

spend some time outside the residence which is historical, but nothing is visible except for the gate. Went with a hope to see much more than what is presented. Location is within a main road in town which attracts heavy traffic at times.

If you are in the area of USA Embassy and drive to town you cannot miss it. There are many good hotels like Sedona which is close the venue and the city. You can hire a car for the day is best way. Let them show you around... More
