Spent a few hours and discover the lakeside with lotus flowers, flower and plant shops, some eating places and locals enjoying the nature and rest in bizzy Yangon.

We were lucky enough to be staying over looking the Kandawgyi Park.We had brilliant views to the Shwedagon Pagoda and the Royal barge that is on the lake.It is going through some construction at the moment with them replacing a large piece of the board...More

Great park for walking and people watching. Better in day as closes by 5 pm. Sunset very nice. Can see different trees, royal barge, boardwalk was being repaired at present. Sone restaurants.

you can take a rest from noisy in the city, you can slowly take a walk with your partener, drink a cup of tea or a glass of ice mokachino in Aroma Restaurand&Coffee, just enjoy the time as you like in this park

Go here to watch the sunset or jog early in the morning! I met a local here and we just chatted away while we're waiting for the sunset.

The most unusual sign I have spotted was the NO-SEX sign on Park Rule Board, which is fairly out of the ordinary given this is a rather conservative country.
