Myanmar Shalom set up several highlights of our 12 day trip. They organized a wonderful overnight hike + home stay experience in Shan. I cannot recommend this highly enough — great guide, one of our favorite travel experiences ever! They then arranged for us to be taken from the end of the trail to our hotel on Inlay Lake, by boat — that trip alone was an incredible! They also did all our domestic air travel and set up a 2-day side trip to Mawlamyine. In short, they were able to accommodate a range of interests and requests we had within our visit to Myanmar, and did so with excellent service and affordability. I would 100% use them again if we ever get a chance to return.

We came to Myanmar for 12 days, Sarah organised our flights, hotels, guides and shuttles. Everything was organised perfect. Sarah was very helpful. She was open to hear feedback and responded promptly to all our requests. We highly recommend Myanmar Shalom!

My wife and I did a private tour with Myanmar Shalom Travels that was by far the best travel tour we have ever done. The tour lasted 7-8 days and covered three different areas including Inle Lake, Yangon, Bagan, and an overnight boat ride to Mandalay. The guides were wonderful, attentive and knowledgeable, the accommodations were great, and the food was delicious. For what we received, the piece of the tour was extremely reasonable.

Our flight got cancelled (weeks in advance of the flight) from Mandalay to Bagan. Ended up using Myanmar Shalom to drive us instead. Much better than a flight, we got to see some great scenery on the way.
This also allowed us to stop at Mount Poppa ( a tricky walk barefoot in the rain with monkey poop but worth it)
Driver was lovely, highly recommend using them!

My husband and I have travelled for many years but both agree that this holiday in Myanmar was our best ever- and that is saying something!!
It was a personal 2 week tour in November 2019 organised by Myanmar Shalom and with personal guides. This was my husband's second trip to Myanmar using Myanmar Shalom. He also requested again the great guide Win Win Htwe who was empathetic always as to our needs.

I went to the shop directly, explain what I wanted. A very nice lady called Rebecca, who spoke great English helped me a organized accordingly to what I was asking. She and the team of Shalonn were all very efficient. Overall it was an excellent servce and I have zero complains.

We went to enjoy an exotic culture that most only read about. We learned that there are Buddhist Nuns. Our final lodging at Inle Lake. We heard their beautiful evening chants . Shalom Guides were really caring... going way out of the way to accommodate our interests. Since my wife is a retired food professional, we went to food markets. We are senior Americans that traveled with a close senior Indian friend from Delhi. The trip was simply outstanding.

I took a 10 day trip to Burma/Myanmar with my twenty year old daughter For me it was a trip of a lifetime as I found the birth records o.f my family in Yangon .They were forced to leave the country in 1941 due to the Japanese invasion of the country We also enjoyed many wonderful sights all organised expertly in advance by Sammy and Sarah at Myanmar Shalom Everything was expertly organised.We were met on our arrival at Yangon airport by our guide who was very friendly and knowledgeable All the hotels chosen for us by the company were excellent and the trip was tailored to our needs As well as Yangon we visited the Bagan area Kalaw an old Britush hill station and the beautiful Inle Lake which was our favourite place We took a one day trek in this area which was excellent.We were provided with three excellent guides in total and all internal travel including flights and boats were all expertly planned I would have no hesitation in recommended using Myanmar Shalom travel to visit this fascinating and beautiful country and hope to make another visit soon Reuben J

I would highly recommend Myanmar Shalom Travels. I booked a trip to see Yangon and fly up to Bagan along with a hot air balloon tour over the temples. Our trip was absolutely perfect down to every last detail. We loved our guide who was a journalist and told fascinating stories about the country’s changes over the last 10-20 years. He used to sneak out articles via visiting ambassadors and dignitaries that were published in the New York Times and other highly reputable publications. Book with this company and you will not be disappointed. We were a mixed group of three friends in early to mid-30’s.

We traveled to Myanmar (Burma) in 2016. The tour was organized by Myanmar Shalom Travels to our utmost satisfaction. The pickup at the Yangon and Bagan airport was very attentive. They booked us a wonderful hotel in Bagan and Rangoon. The cars were comfortable. Drivers were friendly. We loved the trip and fully recommended Shalom Travels.

That's correct anytime from October to end of February is good time to visit as the weather is much nicer/better.
