We were taken here by our private tour guide. I should have turned around and walked back out. I was devastated to walk in and find baby turtles swimming around in a crowded concrete trough, with people picking them up and dropping them back into the water willy nilly. No supervision by the operators. Then we spied the 2 large... More

We visited Bluewater after our swim at the blue lagoon. It was wonderful to see the turtles up close though it was sad to see them in a small lagoon enclosure. We had a nice BBq lunch included with our visit.

I believe this is now called Crystal Blue Lagoon or swim with turtles but if you are trying to support turtle conservation I would encourage you to research further and visit Moso Island/Tranquillity Island Resort. I wish we had done the Coongoola Day Cruise which visits there. I admit I was delighted to hold a baby turtle and feed the... More

Not only is it over priced, but the poor animals stuck in there are in a small enclosure full of stagnant water.

We didn't want to go here but ended up tagging along with another tour. The turtles are kept in small concrete enclosures WAY too small for them. The man showing us around dragged one of the larger older turtles by its fin out for the feeding and while he was doing so he proceeded to flip the poor creature over... More

We travelled down a very long road to get to see the turtles to be "greeted" by VERY RUDE staff in the office. There seemed to be a problem with the number of people in our group and we spent at least 30 minutes waiting around while a man in the office called someone. After the wait, the guy didn't... More

We didn't realise the turtles were in captivity, maybe should have asked more questions, but still enjoyed swimming with them, bit expensive if you do the tour etc, but they need the money so we didn't feel ripped off - snorkelling was better at hideaway, and current quite strong. Nice lunch and great views - interesting drive out there, our... More

We were staying in Port Vila for a week. We bussed out there with friends. Our driver enquired about price, and he came and told us $15 AUS each. Then a worker from resort came over and told us it was $18 each. I enquired why the change of price, and he blatantly ignored me. I asked him about swimming... More
